The following are the Islamic-Resistance operations that took place during the month of November in 1999

Islamic Resistance Performs 137 Operations in November 1999

This November, the resistance squadrons performed 254 military operations against the occupation forces and Lahd agents in West Beqaa and the South. "The Islamic Resistance" performed 137, "the Amal Movement" 94, "the Lebanese Brigades for Resisting the "Israeli" Occupation" 16, "the Islamic Jihad Movement" 4, and "the National Resistance" 3.

The enemy acknowledged that the Islamic-Resistance operations wounded 7 Lahd militiamen. The Islamic Resistance confirmed so but added that 3 others were wounded; also that each of 3 more was killed or wounded.
The Lahd-Militia sources claimed the recruited agent Hussam Shaheen Harfoush (from Hasbaya Town) was injured as his car turned upside down by al-Hasbani Bridge. Harfoush was transported to a hospital in occupied Palestine, the sources said.

On the other hand, 8 fighters of the Islamic Resistance and 2 of the Islamic Jihad Movement were martyred this month.
On November 19, 1999, the Lebanese Brigades for Resisting the "Israeli" Occupation organized a tour for local and foreign journalists.
The journalists toured one of the training camps in the event which was organized to commemorate "the Independence Day" (celebrated every 22nd of November).
During the tour, a squadron accomplished a military maneuver, using live rounds, rocket shells, and light and middle machineguns.

Another group carried out a virtual attack against a virtual enemy site, bombing a heavy explosive before opening their barrage on the site. The group as well ambushed a virtual enemy patrol.

It was obvious the fighters taking part in the Brigades' maneuver belonged to different sects and political currents. Some fighters were college or technical institution students, and one of them was a practitioner spending his vacation at the camp, where he trained how to fight the occupation.

Soon, the Brigades' groups were going to perform operations in the occupied region, an officer declared. The officer thanked the Islamic Resistance for providing the necessary ordnance and training equipment.

Resistance Operations Mark "Martyr's Day", November 12, 1999

Marking "the Martyr's Day", the Islamic Resistance performed a series of operations and attacks against many enemy and Lahd sites and troops along the frontline. The Resistance fighters used different kinds of machineguns and rocket shells.

For the first time in five years, the operations targeted Shreiqa Site near Marjeeyoun Site. Therefore, a delegation of the so-called "Northern Command", headed by chief of "the "Israeli" General Staff", visited the site to detect the damage made.

Twelve rockets hit the site, its surroundings, and the route connecting the site to al-Motelleh region, information sources said. One of the rockets hit the site mounds, the cannonade emplacement, and a caravan command chamber. Smoke could be seen arising from the site.
The sources added that the nearly 100 site members hid in shelters rather than counterattacking the fighters.

An Islamic-Resistance statement confirmed that the fighters clashed with the site garrisons. The fighters caused serious casualties the Zionist-Lahd garrisons and demolished many mounds and fortifications.

The operations as well targeted Sojod Site. Positioned at a close distance from the site, the fighters clashed with the site garrison for 15 minutes. The fighters also attacked: the Zionist-Lahd ar-Rihan Barracks, al-Aychieh Barracks, enemy troops on al-Qobala Hill, Mount ad-Dabboura, and Mount Shmeis el-Orkoub, in addition to the sites of Bir Kallab, Kfarhouna, as-Suweidaa, Shkief (Fort), ad-Dabsheh, at-Taybeh, Mash'aroun, al-Mhaysbet, Marj Houla, Braachit (While attacking this one, the fighters were positioned at a close distance), Haddatha, Hamayed, Rchaf, Blat, and the Radar, as well as the Lahd "80th Battalion" Headquarters in al-Jamoussa.

Meanwhile, other groups of "the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit" razed the cannonade emplacements at the sites of az-Zaffata, Shreiqa, and Abu Qamha. The Resistance groups prevented the sites from backing up the sites under attack, therefore.

As enemy aircraft engaged in the battle, groups of "the Islamic-Resistance Air Defense Forces" counterattacked them, foiling their mission.
"Four" Lahd militiamen were wounded, the enemy acknowledged.
