Resistance Bloc: We are Proud of Lebanese Solidarity with the Media against US Project

The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc held its regular meeting on Wednesday 20/01/2010. Heading the meeting was MP Mohammad Raad, with the presence of the Bloc's members.
The Bloc's talks revolved over local subjects which resulted in the following:

1- The guarantee of administrative appointments according to the constitution and laws, and the adherence to the principles of competency and efficiency, is a consensus of the cabinet on the basis of integrity and objectivity when suggesting or designating candidates.

2- The running of the municipal elections, according to the decision taken by the cabinet yesterday and to the date it set for it, will require great efforts to prepare the appropriate promises, in addition to the concerted efforts of all officials and political movements, in order to provide the best climate to fulfill the merit.

3- The constitutional text attached to the parliament, which is the formation of a national committee to study and suggest methods to end political sectarianism under a plan of different levels, imposes on the members of the parliament to work on implementing the text via forming the committee and following up its work according to the Article 95 in the constitution.

4- The Lebanese official and popular positions clearly expressed the condemnation and refusal of the American law, which aims at suppressing media freedom, and taking over the people's right for expressing their resistance against the occupation and aggression. The Lebanese position was stated by the President, Head of Parliament, Prime Minister, and all forces and civil society institutions.
