Sheikh Yazbek visits Fakha & Ras Baalbek towns for Christmas & the New Year

In his speech Father Bashour stressed on loving relationships between people of the one nation and one area, so that peace prevails among all.

Offering his congratulations and blessings, Sheikh Yazbek prayed to God for a new year in Lebanon, where all are united in understanding, dialogue is prevalent, and all flaws that create separation between brothers of the one country are removed. 

After that, Sheikh Yazbek, headed to the town of Ras Baalbek, where he was met at St Elian Church Hall by President of Ras Baalbek Monastery Elias Khodary, Father Ibrahim Na'amo, and a host of influential people from the town, the elective council and the social scene in the presence of MP Marwan Fares.

Father Na'amo said in his speech: "We are blessed by your visit, for the love, affection and brotherhood you hold in your hearts for us, we in turn hold in our hearts all the respect, admiration, love, and confidence in you as a noble valiant resistance, a source of pride for us all, honored and revered by the noble, the astute and the intelligent."

In his speech Sheikh Yazbek hoped that this year holds good for all, and for accord to permeate all situations in the course of building the homeland and the strong and fair State along with its institutions, so that Lebanon is once again the home of all its citizens, whose land and sovereignty we all defend.

He added: "We invested all capabilities and endured all difficulties and deprivation so that Lebanon survives; in which we invite all politicians to converge at accord and understanding, to engage in dialogue with the broader objective being the interest of the Lebanese, so that we preserve our nation ourselves."

Sheikh Yazbek emphasized that the resistance enjoys the embrace, smiles, and supportive stand of all. Hence the triumph, pride and dignity is for all of us."
