Sheikh Qassem: We will not relapse to failed diplomacy at the expense of successful resistance
In his address on the third Ashoura night at the Awzai Husseiniyat Hall, His Eminence Sheikh Qassem, the Deputy Secretary-General said: "God granted us victory not granted to Arabs and Muslims combined, He granted us success to humiliate "Israel" from top to bottom, so much so that by day and night the resistance name frightens them, right in their hideaways."
He said "All "Israeli" threats do not concern or affect us, and thank God we have enough protection to prevent "Israeli" harm, they know we are determined to continue in the arena. Regardless of international and regional calls for us to accept humiliation and surrender we will not retreat, we will only listen to voices of pride and dignity - we will stand fast in the field."
Demands are to be directed at "Israel" the aggressor not to the victim, "Israel" entered our land while we are the ones liberating it, it violates our sovereign airspace while we are the ones bearing the burden, the victim cannot be asked why they defend themselves, but the aggressor to stop their aggression."
"When the Lebanese Republic President General Michel Suleiman presented Lebanon\'s position to Obama, all the latter said \'We are worried about arms smuggling to Lebanon!\' Why? Because this concerns \'Israel\' and harms its security."
400 "Israeli" nuclear warheads, weapons of mass destruction, its killing of women, children and the elderly, assaults and occupation activity, its taking of entire Palestine through gradual occupation from 1948 to 1967, occupation of the Golan Heights and southern Lebanon, and parts of Jordan and Egypt, does not raise Obama\'s concern for security and humanity?!
Yet Obama is concerned from harm caused to "Israeli" security when a small group in Lebanon makes its preparations to protect itself and its country?!
Gratefully, through its double standards and actions against morality, dignity and honor, the US has placed itself in number one post of being the most hated in the Islamic world. Freedom and human rights are kept for U.S. and "Israel" at the expense of enslaving Arabs, Muslims, Palestinians and Lebanese.
On the other hand we of the Islamic world have no rights, they even banned al-Manar TV from being viewed in a number of European countries and now the US wants satellites that broadcast Al-Manar punished. They do not want the voice of conscience heard in America, to control and enslave their own people.
Our responsibility is to remain in the arena and accept the challenge, to bear the difficulties and complexities of international and regional collusion against us, to reject surrender regardless of the conditions and to insist on the return of all occupied territories in "Israeli" occupiers\' hand no matter how small.
We ask those who think Lebanon can be liberated through diplomacy; we say good luck to them!!
The implementation of Resolution 425 was left abandoned in the drawers of diplomacy for 22 years, the boots of the Mujahideen succeeded in liberating the South where diplomacy failed; therefore, we will not relapse into trying a failed diplomacy at the expense of successful resistance.
We will continue with success, once you prove your success through other methods, we can then sit down again to form a new understanding God Willing, but until then we will not relinquish our strength in the "Israeli" enemy's face.
