Sheikh Qassem: We will not confront "Israel" with speeches & complaints before Security Council!

The Deputy Secretary-General of Hizbullah His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem viewed that the inclusion of the independent article of the resistance in the ministerial statement emphasizes the need of Lebanon to legitimize the presence of the resistance through the ministerial statement.

This came in a speech His Eminence delivered at the annual graduation ceremony hosted by the Institute of Zahraa (p) of Forensic Sciences. 

Sheikh Qassem added: " we are convinced that the resistance is a priority in its presence, readiness and necessity. There are several reasons for our conviction of such a strong and necessary presence of the resistance:

First: "Israel" still constitutes a threat to Lebanon, it forms a real risk, occupies its territory and spies everywhere, violates the airspace. Therefore, it is not possible to confront "Israel" with speeches and complaints before the Security Council. Rather, it should be confroted with preparation, readiness, and direct confrontation when necessary by the resistance and by Lebanon.

Second: The Power of Lebanon is in its resistance, a blessing of God the Almighty. The strength of Lebanon that lays in its resistance, army, and people is a blessing we will never give up, whatever the pressures are. We will not leave our power to being exploited by "Israel" .

Third: The inclusion of the independent article of the rsistance in the ministerial statement, which is the sixth article, stresses the need of Lebanon to legitimize the presence of resistance through the ministerial statement.

All the talks concerning this article are worthless, as we will see in the vote of confidence in the Parliament, the Council is confident or not confident, either the Deputy accepts the Statement and all of the government as a whole or rejects the confidence. Consequently, when the government through its ministerial statement gains the confidence with high majority, and this is what we expect, this will mean that the resistance is a part and parcel of this government's conviction and belief and any other approachment is not but gossip and fruitless words.

Forth: When the United States of America, the supporter of "Israel", attempts to discuss the banning of al-Manar Channel and obscuring its sound and image for the purpose of the resistance word not to be heard, this impies that our power of resistance had reached to the extent of worrying the American politicians and making them feel ineffectiveness.

Fifth: All the "Israeli" threats are absurd for the resistance is in full preparedness and will not be subjected to the different pressures. He who had previously experienced knows well how the results will be, especially, when we are in front of a fact that the resistance today is stronger than before and has a firm determination to continue the course.

We will do our duty for this government, the national unity government, to work out and to take care of the population's causes apart from the media quarrels and noises. Also, we call for sparing no effort or time to solve the people's urgent issues like water, electricity, roads, traffic hospitalization and medication.
