Ayatollah Fadlallah receives a delegation from Hizbullah Political Council

Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah received a Hizbullah Political Council delegation today headed by the Council's chairman Sayyed Ibrahim Amin Sayyed, together with Sheikh Abdulmajid Mourad, Sheikh Khoder Noureddine, Hajj Mustafa Hajj Ali Berro, Dr. Ahmed Mellie and Hajj Hassan Hodroj.
The delegation discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region with Sayyed Fadlallah, particularly developments in the situation in Iraq, recent security breaches and bombings that left hundreds of Iraqis dead and wounded, along with their implications, aims and those behind them.
His Eminence the Ayatollah saw that those behind the bombings in Iraq are employed by and related to the occupation, both directly and indirectly. He pointed out that it is in the Zionist entity's interest for Iraq to remain fractured and divided, because it wants this fragmentation to extend towards to neighboring Arab and Islamic region. He called on Islamic Sunni and Shiaa reference authorities to expose these criminals, and confirm that such behavior belongs to criminality and not to Islam - the just and true faith...
Fadlallah noted that no one side that claims any concern for Iraq, its people, its identity and heritage, to claim that these brutal crimes that affect civilians are in Iraq's interest or the interest of any Iraqi side.
