Member of Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Fayyad considered the government as being more a problem now than ever before.

In a radio interview the MP indicated that "Solution efforts currently concentrated on finding face-saving exists for all, thus placing everyone as neither winners nor losers, but feared last minute surprises.

On the topic of the missile launched from south Lebanon and the other missiles prepared for launch, Fayyad described them as "suspicious" and contradicting the resistance's current strategy of addressing the "Israeli" violations issue.

Regarding UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's adoption of the findings of the report Terje Roed-Larsen prepared on Resolution 1701, Fayyad accused Ban Ki-moon of bias and considered the findings in the report as non-objective, non-constructive and unhelpful in creating stability in southern Lebanon. He also noted that Larsen's biased conduct to the "Israeli" side has become exposed not only at local level but on international level as well.
