Sayyed Nasrallah Congratulates Ahmadinejad on ’’valuable popular trust and confidence’’

Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah congratulated on Sunday Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his re-election in Iran's race.

Sayyed Nasrallah delivered a congratulation letter to Ahmadinejad, praising the Iranian President and expressing hopes he would be able to achieve his goals.

The following is the text of that letter:

In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful

Your Excellency the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran,

Dear brother Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Peace, God's mercy, and blessings be upon you

On behalf of myself and the brothers and sisters in Hizbullah...I congratulate your Excellency on the valuable public confidence and great love which has been expressed by the Iranian people displayed in your re-election as president of the Islamic Republic for a second term by such historic public turnout and unleveled support.

I assure you that your re-election represents great hope for all the oppressed, the mujahidin, resistance fighters, and rejecters of tyranny and occupation, as it is so to the dear Iranian people.

Your re-election is a continuation of the spirit of confidence in the future and faith in the ability to endure and fight tyrants and certitude in the promised victory.

I ask the Lord that you be constantly successful in realizing all hopes and objectives which your great people and all the oppressed nations look up to in light of the wise prudent leadership of Imam Ali Khamenei may he live long.
