Loyalty to the Resistance wishes parliamentary blocs adopt lowering voting age, calls for implementing admin appointment

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in Lebanon issued a statement today after their regular meeting chaired by MP Mohammad Raad, in which hope was expressed for parliamentary blocs, to translate their positions in favor of adopting the constitutional amendment of the Constitution's article 21, in terms of reducing the voting age, which has the consensus of the Lebanese people and constitutes an important reformatory step in the electoral law.
The bloc confirmed the legitimacy of primary school teachers' demands and called on the Government to expedite their fulfillment.
The bloc also acquainted themselves with the election climate and stressed the need by all to adopt a calm discourse, and stressed the need for implementing the administrative appointments, starting with posts related to the due elections.
Meanwhile, the bloc expressed satisfaction towards any reconciliation between Arab countries and any rapprochement that leads to supporting Arab issues, at their forefront the central issue of Palestine. Attention was drawn to the dangers of underestimating hostile incidents committed by the Zionist enemy in al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the West Bank within the framework of completing their project of Judaizing the occupied territories and intensifying the settlement movement.
