The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc held regular meeting today, chaired by MP Mohammad Raad and the attendance of its members, they discussed the issues clouding the country's atmosphere, reflected by the tone of mutual political discourse and some problems and incidents in more than one region, as well as the repeated postponement of the budget's release against a backdrop of continuing differences over funding the Council of the South.

The meeting focused on the necessary preparations for carrying out the electoral process scheduled for June 7, and any gaps and complaints received by the MPs from the citizens in various regions.

The bloc also followed up one the Palestinian dialogue subject and the obstructed calm in the Gaza Strip by the continued Zionist siege and its practical rejection of the calm. The meeting denounced the systematic Zionist campaign of destruction and displacement of the al-Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) Palestinians.

The bloc concluded its meeting with the following:

1-The circulation of a calm climate and avoiding provocation to provide for an appropriate environment to achieve a legitimate electoral competitiveness, and the contribution in controlling and easing of tensions, is a responsibility to be shared by all officials, forces and reference authorities in all regions and by all confessions and sides.

2-The country enters, with the registration period for parliamentary candidacy beginning, the actual operational phase in preparation for the elections. Despite the diversity of issues, the multiplicity of those competing and the conflicting emblems, national duty dictates for everyone to participate in the coming elections against the background of competing for the benefit of the homeland and citizens.

3-We call upon his Excellency the Interior Minister, who is exerting extraordinary efforts at this stage to be tough with the competent departments in his ministry for more alertness and precision in the issuance of identity cards and in the final readying of constituency lists, in order to avoid any confusion by the citizens, to lessen the efforts expected of the responsible committees on election day.

4-The Cabinet's release of a budget that includes funding of the Council of the South, is a matter no longer permissible to remain a subject of continuing differences and wrangling. The people of the South and those affected by the Zionist enemy assault must receive their full rights, and sense the State's responsibility towards them.

5- Under the Constitution the Council of Ministers is responsible for the implementation of laws, and has no authority to suspend the application of any laws or give delays for the disruption of the work under the terms decreed by any law.
Law No. 140 along with its applied decrees related to ‘the freedom of communication act', must remain in force as stated.

6-The continuing "Israeli" blockade of the Gaza Strip is a condemned criminal act and an additional source of further tension and a threat to stability. Whilst, we welcome all serious efforts exerted towards a course of responsible dialogue among our Palestinian brothers, we emphasize our satisfaction with every step that brings about convergence and closeness that consolidate Arab solidarity in the region to confront the continuing attack by Zionists and world arrogance.
