BEIEUR--Al-Alam news network's office in Beirut has honored released Hizbullah prisoner from "Israeli" jails, Samir Kintar.
The network's personnel congratulated the Lebanese activist on the victory of the Islamic movement Hizbullah to win the release of five Lebanese prisoners and bodies of nearly 200 martyred fighters of the movement on July 16.
The "Israeli" regime ratified the agreement on July 15 in exchange for the bodies of two of its soldiers captured by Hizbullah activists prior to the 33-day war in Lebanon, which dealt a sever blow to the regime's army.
The move was widely viewed as a retreat by the Zionist regime from its once-unrelenting stance and a major victory for Lebanon, a former representative of the Islamic group has said.
For his part, Kintar, the longest-served Lebanese prisoner freed after three decades behind "Israeli" bars, thanked the Arabic-language network and pledged to pay frequent visits to the office.
