Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc blasted Gemayel`s assassination as criminal act

The Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc issued a statement condemning the assassination of Industry Minister Pierre Gemayel as a criminal act. The statement offered condolences to the family of Gemayel and to the Phalange party, of which the minister is a member and his father former President Amine is his higher chief. The statement also said that at the critical political situation Lebanon is passing through, and at a time when the Lebanese are practicing their right in peaceful and democratic political diversity, criminal and terrorist hands have infiltrated to assassinate colleague MP and minister Pierre Gemayel in a bid to destabilize the situation in Lebanon and incite the Lebanese against each other, to push them into chaos. The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc firmly condemns this odious and criminal act and stresses the necessity to have an immediate investigation to uncover the perpetrators.
