Yediot Aharonot "Israeli" daily revealed that rebels are being trained in secret camps in Jordan.
According to the newspaper "dozens of aircraft loaded with weapons and military equipment quickly landed at the airport in the Jordanian coastal town, al-Aqba, near Eilat."
"In minutes, the boxes were raised on sealed trucks that headed north to the two military bases, under heavy guard," it added.
An eyewitness in al-Aqaba revealed "in one night, I saw an air train of 17 aircrafts without identification marks." None of the pilots knew the type of the load. The equipment was carried and it was deliberately handed as no numbers were set to the containers.
The daily further mentioned that the first base is the King Abdullah II, used for training the Special Forces "- a selected unit in the Jordanian army, which is parallel to the General Staff in the "Israeli" army.
"In that base, the rebels are trained on light weapons and being prepared for military confrontations with the Syrian army and Bashar al-Assad's "militia", in particular," it added.
The second base, according to "Yediot", is located in the Northeast of the Kingdom, in the border triangle between Jordan, Syria and Iraq. "Thus, the rebels can move easily into the two-states from the air and ground as well. In that base, rebels are trained to use accurate weapon and shoulder rockets in preparation for the post al-Assad period."
According to the "Israeli" sources, the world did not know of the existence of these bases that were uncovered recently by the two dailies: "The Guardian" and "Der Spiegel".
"The Americans were forced last October to recognize for the first time they are conducting military exercises in Jordan to face the risk of chemical weapon which may leak from Syria," "Yediot" said.
In parallel, it confirmed that "not only Jordanian soldiers were trained in these bases but also Syria rebels and dissidents from the Syrian Army."
In this context, a senior official in the Syrian opposition revealed that the statement of King Abdullah, who said that his relations with ["Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu very were strengthened, wasn't born by chance."
US journalist Jeffrey Goldberg, highlighted this week that "some elements in "Israel" and Jordan revealed that "Israeli" drones are flying along the border with Syria, with the consent of the Jordanians.
The newspaper also stated that "there exists close cooperation between the civilian security companies, which worked in Iraq upon the fall of Saddam Hussein, and military advisers from the United States, France and Britain.
"It is difficult to determine whether the trainers aren't really from the official authorities," it said, and added: "more than 1200 Syrian rebels ended their training period.
"Only one third of the trained rebels crossed the border area, while others wait their turn," the daily concluded.
