Eye on the Enemy: Second Lebanon War Didn’t Achieve Military Goals
Israeldefense.com
"Israel" "Defense" Web site reported that the object crashed in Lebanon a few days ago is more likely to be an "Israeli" drone aircraft. The Lebanese media increased the probability of a drone being tested by Hizbullah.
According to the site, Lebanon is a large testing ground for unmanned aircrafts. The reports indicated a drone belonging to Hizbullah was being tested and crashed on Saturday in Younin in the Lebanese Bekaa Valley. But this news is uncertain, and they say in "Israel", it is more likely an "Israeli" drone aircraft that crashed.
Western sources say that "Israel" is pursuing what is happening in Syria, by unmanned drones and spy satellites. Since the beginning of the civil war in Syria, there is a clear rise in "Israeli" activities. In recent weeks, a number of web sites published pictures of unknown drones that are flying over different regions in Syria. Operating unmanned aerial vehicles aims to "closely track" various military activities. Such tracking operations are difficult to implement by satellites passing over Syria during a fixed time interval. It is unknown until now if there's a Syrian activity against these drones.

Former "Israeli" "Defense" Minister: Second Lebanon War didn't achieve military goals
Channel 1
Former "Israeli" "Defense" Minister, Major General (Res.) Yitzhak Mordechai said that the Second Lebanon War in 2006 did not accomplish all the goals in military terms, "if we want to express it nicely, yes, part of the goals were completed through political means".
"I want to remind Hizbullah, Lebanon and anyone standing behind them, ourselves, and particularly the great powers, that if Hizbullah tried to use the weapons in its possession, it should know that what happened in the Galilee second war will not be repeated and it would be entirely different," he said. Mordechai added that Hizbullah fired thousands of rockets along 33 days into "Israel" and the war stopped after the intervention of great powers and, ultimately, Hizbullah is reinforcing his rocket power and its military ability and readiness.
Regarding the high price that can be paid by "Israel" in any future war with Hizbullah, Mordechai said, "We have learned lessons from what happened in the Second Lebanon War and we have to prepare the international and local public opinion, whether in "Israel" or that of Hizbullah that next time will be different, and once again Lebanon and Hizbullah must know that if they tried targeting our civilians with rockets, Lebanon will return several years back in its infrastructure and the strike will be materialistic for those who strike us, we do not strike civilians and we will keep these values.
