The following are the Islamic-Resistance operations that took place during the month of February in 1995..

Islamic Resistance Performs Sixty Operations in February, 1995

This month, the resistance squadrons have performed 69 military operations against the Zionist enemy and the Lahd agents in West Beqaa and the South; 60 operations among those have been performed by the Islamic-Resistance fighters, whereas the other Lebanese and Palestinian resistance squadrons have performed only 9 operations.

The sources of the occupation military have acknowledged the death of a Zionist soldier and the injury of three others during those operations; yet, these sources have claimed that four Zionist soldiers were wounded as a half-track flipped and that another was injured in the explosion of a site where he was serving.
As for the Lahd Militia, it has acknowledged the death of two militiamen and the injury of four others; whereas the resistance has announced the death of seven militiamen and the injury of another, in addition to the captivation of one more, Hussein Awad, who was captivated by the Amal Movement.

Concerning the operations, a number of unique ones have been performed this month, whereby the Islamic Resistance has announced that on February 2, 1995, the fighters shot a helicopter down. The enemy hasn't acknowledged this, however.
Also on February 3, 1995, the Islamic-Resistance fighters executed the officer in charge of "Battalion 81" Ghazi Diab by bombing an explosive while he was taking Shamaa-al-Bayyada Route.
Moreover, the Islamic Resistance attacked seventeen sites of the enemy and agents in "the West Sector" and "the Middle Sector" on February 19, 1995.


Islamic Resistance Attacks Enemy Troops Marshaled at Tallousseh Site, February 1, 1995

The Islamic-Resistance fighters have continued chasing the Zionist-occupation forces in order to prevent them from assailing the residential villages. Hereupon, the Islamic-Resistance fighters have performed another operation, the details of which are here below:
On Wednesday, February 1, 1995, at 2:30 p.m., the Islamic Resistance monitored vehicles and bulldozers taking part in fortifying the newly established Zionist Tallousseh Site.
Instantly, the fighters of the Fire Backup Unit struck them. Blessed, the fighters directly shot the gatherings.

Again at 3:45, the fighters bombarded Tallousseh Site, bringing about more casualties to the enemy forces.

Islamic Resistance Shoots Helicopter Down in al-Kawzah Sky, February 2, 1995
Not only have the fighters attacked the enemy's ground forces, but also they have struck the enemy's air forces, whereby the fighters shot a helicopter down as it was about to assail a southern town.

Regarding this accomplishment, the Islamic Resistance has issued the statement here below:
"On Thursday, February 2, 1995, exactly at 1:00 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance ground anti-aircraft artillery confronted two Zionist "Cobra" helicopters that were about to perform air strikes in the sky of Yater Town.
Launching several ground-air Sam-7 missiles against the helicopters, the fighters shot one of them down. The helicopter was seen exploding in the sky of al-Kawzah Region."


Islamic Resistance Ambushes Zionist Patrol En Route to Tallousseh, February 2, 1995

The Islamic Resistance is influenced by the teachings of the gone Imam Khomeini (Sacred is his secret). Marking the anniversary of the victory of the blessed Islamic Revolution in Iran, also marking the holy month of Ramadan, the month of Allah, the Islamic Resistance has continued to strike the Zionist enemy.
On Thursday, February 2, 1995, at 1:30 p.m., the fighters lay in ambush while a Zionist patrol was heading to Tallousseh Site.
The patrol, which included four vehicles and twenty patrollers, was shot with a barrage of the fighters' firearms and rocket shells. Hence, several vehicles were burned, and each of the patrollers got killed or wounded.

After the Zionists had assailed the residential villages facing the occupied region, finally shelling Majdal Selm Town and damaging its ceremonial center and several houses, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit bombarded the enemy's fire sources at 2:20 p.m., ceasing them.
Likewise, at 3:00 p.m., the Fire Backup Unit counterattacked the sites of Sojod, Bir Kallab, and ar-Rihan, causing them losses and ceasing their fire.

Islamic Resistance Attacks Zionist Force in Areed-az-Zennar, February 3, 1995

On Friday, February 3, 1995, at 11:00 a.m., some Islamic-Resistance groups attacked a Zionist-Lahd force that was attempting to progress to Areed-az-Zennar from Bir Kallab Site and ar-Rihan Barracks.
The fighters clashed with the counter force.
Suffering losses, the force had no choice but to retreat from the place.
Meanwhile, the Fire Backup Unit bombarded Bir Kallab Site and ar-Rihan Barracks, ceasing their fire sources.
As he was defending the Ummah's dignity, an Islamic-Resistance fighter, Wissam Fasa'ee (from Tyre), was martyred on February 3, 1995.


Islamic Resistance Executes Chief of "Battalion 81" Ghazi Diab, February 3, 1995

The Islamic-Resistance fighters have again stricken the traitorous Lahd agents, who have sold themselves to the devil to achieve the coercive Zionists' aims.
This time, the fighters have executed a chief agent, and here is the statement the Islamic Resistance has issued to explain the details of the operation:
"The Islamic Resistance has again stricken the traitorous agents' chiefs, who threaten and torture the civilians of the towns of the occupied region.

Having warned the agents repeatedly, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Nedal Abbass al-Haj Hussein (Military name: "Abu Haidar") blasted a white Mercedes car of the agents' security system on Shamaa-al-Bayyada Route on Friday, February 3, at 9:15 a.m.
The explosion completely burned the car and killed its passengers. Among those was the officer in charge of "Battalion 81" of the "West Brigade", Ghazi Diab.
As the enemy brought reinforcements to the operation zone in order to evacuate the casualties, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit bombarded these reinforcements, causing more casualties to the enemy soldiers."


Resistance Ambushes Enemy Patrol in Nabatiyeh, February 6, 1995

Constantly aware of the enemy's plots and ready to defend the Lebanese people, the Islamic Resistance has prevented the Zionist enemy from assailing the southern regions. The Resistance has issued this statement to explain the confrontation details:
"At sunset on Monday, February 6, 1995, the Islamic Resistance monitored a suspicious move of the enemy forces at ad-Dabsheh Site.
Therefore, some Islamic-Resistance groups set an ambush near the deserted Army Barracks in Nabatiyeh.
As twenty Zionist patrollers reached the ambush spot, the fighters bombed an explosive before opening the fire of their firearms and artillery. Thus, many patrollers got killed or wounded.
As reinforcements from ad-Dabsheh Site tried to reach the ambush spot, the Islamic Resistance bombarded them and foiled their attempt."

The Islamic-Resistance statement has added:
"Shortly afterwards, the enemy retried to sneak into the operation zone so as to evacuate the casualties. Hence, the Islamic-Resistance groups struck the sneaking forces, making the enemy suffer more losses.
Since the enemy has repeatedly attempted to infiltrate the liberated regions, the Islamic Resistance iterates it is constantly aware and ready to defend the Lebanese civilians. The Resistance shall foil all of the desperate enemy's moves."


Islamic Resistance Attacks Tallousseh Site, February 13, 1995

On Monday, February 13, 1995, at 6:00 a.m., the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Deeb Bahjah attacked the Zionists' Tallousseh Site. Using firearms and artillery, the fighters clashed with the site garrison, directly hitting the site, destroying several site mounds, and killing or injuring each of the garrison soldiers.
On the same day, at 12:45 p.m., the group of martyr Hani Taha and martyr Haitham Dabajah blasted a Lahd patrol on at-Taybeh-al-Kantara Route. The blast killed or injured each of the patrollers.


Islamic Resistance Blasts "Israeli" Infantry Patrol, Foils Airdrop onto Maryameyn Hill, February 17, 1995

"On Friday, February 17, 1995, at 2:45 p.m., the Islamic Resistance blasted a Zionist infantry patrol of fifteen infantrymen on ar-Rihan-al-Aychieh Route. This resulted in the injury or death of every infantryman."
In addition, the Islamic-Resistance men frustrated an "Israeli" airdrop onto Maryameyn Hill near Yater Town.

The operation details reveal that some "Israeli" helicopters flew in the zone including the towns of Sheheen, Shamaa, Marwahin, Kafra, and Yater. Then a helicopter landed down on Maryameyn Hill near Yater Town, but the Resistance artillerists launched six rocket shells against it, foiling the airdrop and any potential progress of the enemy into Yater town, especially when 155-mm cannons of the enemy struck the outskirts of Yater and the area of al-Assi in Kafra Town.

Now the Resistance bombarded the facing enemy sites. An "Israeli" helicopter flew in the sky of the south of Yater, heading towards Rchaf and Beit Lif.
The security sources in the South have reported that the Zionist helicopter was shot with six rockets; however, the sources haven't specified the kind of the rockets, nor have they mentioned any details concerning the shooting of the helicopter.


Fire Backup Unit Shells Bir Kallab Site, ar-Rihan Barracks, al-Aychieh Barracks; February 18, 1995

In reaction to the vicious Zionist assaults, the Islamic-Resistance Fire backup Unit's heavy artillery struck Bir Kallab Site and ar-Rihan Barracks on Saturday, February 18, 1995, at 11:00 a.m. The Unit directly hit both places.
Likewise, at 1:17 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit bombarded al-Aychieh Barracks, ceasing the fire sources that had been shelling the Lebanese civilians.

Islamic Resistance Performs Unique Operation Series on February 19, 1995

Marking the holy month of Ramadan, also commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of the Believers' Prince, Imam Ali Bin Abi Taleb (Pbuh), the Islamic-Resistance fighters have again iterated their adherence to jihad.
At the dawn of Sunday, February 19, 1995, the fighters performed heroic operations against Zionist-Lahd sites.

Actually, the battle zone included four axes: "the West Sector", "the East Sector", Nabatiyeh, and Iqlim at-Toffah. Here below are the details of the striking attack that some groups of the Islamic-Resistance General Recruitment carried out:
At 5:00 a.m., the Islamic-Resistance groups of martyr Abdul Aziz Kourani and martyr Nezar Sleem attacked the Zionist-Lahd sites of Rchaf, Hamid, Beit Lif, al-Herdoun, al-Bayyada, in addition to al-Hamra Crossing Point in "the West Sector".

In the meantime, the groups of martyr Ibrahim Samra, martyr Hassan Jaghbir, martyr Riyadh Demashque, and martyr Muhammad Haidar were attacking Haddatha, Braachit, Beit Yahoun, and Houla Sites in the Middle Sector.
The confrontations destroyed these sites' mounds and fortifications and killed a number of the garrison soldiers.

Exactly at 6:10, the Islamic-Resistance fighters attacked the Zionist-Lahd sites in Nabatiyeh and Iqlim at-Toffah, whereby the group of martyr Deeb Bahjah and Rabee' Atwi struck the sites of as-Suweidaa, ad-Dabsheh, al-Borj, and Ali at-Taher.
In the meantime, the group of martyr Hussein Hammoud and martyr Abdul Amir Fadle was attacking Sojod Site and Bir Kallab Site. In fact, these confrontations caused many casualties to the enemy soldiers and the Lahd agents. The front mounds and fortifications of the sites were destroyed, too.
The fighters' heroic performance prevented the enemy from controlling the battle. Consequently, counter helicopters appeared in the operation zone, fiercely combing it. But the ground anti-aircraft artillery of the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit counterattacked these helicopters. The enemy, thus, was forced to retreat from the operation zone.

Actually, the enemy attempted to bring its frustrated soldiers back to their spirits after the Islamic-Resistance men had stricken them; therefore, the enemy's war aircraft performed a series of raids in the sky of Iqlim at-Toffah Heights at 8:00 a.m.
Consequently, the ground anti-aircraft launching several Sam-7 missiles against them; the counter raids actually lasted until 10:45.

At 11:35, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit targeted the Lahd headquarters in al-Aychieh and Marjeeyoun. Heavily bombarding them, the fighters caused losses to both headquarters.
Likewise, exactly at 5:10 p.m. on the same day, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Abbass Hammoud blasted an "Israeli" motorcade in Tiri. Thus, a vehicle was damaged, and each of the patrollers got killed or wounded.
On the other hand, the Islamic-Resistance fighter Fadi Abboud (from Nabatiyeh) was martyred.

Furthermore, on February 19, 1995, after a delegation of members of "the Knesset's Security and Foreign Affairs Committee" had visited the occupied region, it escaped death.
Some "Israeli" news sources mentioned that some moments after the delegation had left a military site in Marjeeyoun, the Resistance bombarded the site. Afterwards, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Lieutenant General Yuri Aurz told the "Israeli" military channel that "the Army of South Lebanon"* was devastated.


Fire Backup Unit Strikes Sites of Bir Kallab, Sojod, February 20, 1995

The Islamic-Resistance fighters have continued to perform heroic operations against the enemy and its agents; having monitored Zionist troops marshaled at Sojod and Bir Kallab Sites at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 1995, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit struck both sites with firearms and artillery so as to prevent any refortification.

Earlier, the Islamic-Resistance operations had caused the sites grave casualties.
On the same day, at 4:30 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit targeted the Zionist al-Ahmadieh Site in West Beqaa, directly hitting it.


Islamic Resistance Performs Heroic Operation Series, February 23, 1995

Adhering to the decision of the Islamic Resistance as respects hunting the Lahd agents down, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Fadi Abboud attacked Kfarhouna Crossing Point on Tuesday, February 23, 1995, at 10:10.
As a result, a security car of the officer in charge of Kfarhouna Crossing Point was demolished, and several soldiers at the crossing point were killed or injured.
In the meantime, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Ali Saad attacked Kfarhouna Site with firearms and rocket shells, destroying the site mounds and fortifications, burning several vehicles, and killing or injuring a number of soldiers.

Furthermore, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit launched rockets against Bir Kallab Site, Toumet Niha Site, and Aramta Barracks.
In succession with their operations, the fighters led a series of heroic confrontations with the occupation soldiers and agents. The Islamic Resistance has issued the following statement to explain the confrontation details:

"Commemorating al-Quds (Jerusalem) International Day", which was declared by the gone Supreme Leader and Launcher of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Khomeini, the Islamic Resistance performed a series of heroic operations, starting in the early morning and targeting Zionist-Lahd sites that'd assailed the residential villages.

On Thursday, February 23, 1995, at 6:20 a.m., some Islamic-Resistance groups conducted a daring attack against three occupation sites; martyr Saleh Harb's group attacked as-Suweidaa Site; martyr Hussein Baz's group struck Tohra Site; martyr Khalil Mahmoud's group attacked ad-Dabsheh Site.
Actually, the fighters shelled these sites with firearms and rocket shells. As a result, many soldiers were shot, several mounds were demolished, and a number of vehicles were burned. As-Suweidaa Site could be seen afire for a half-hour upon the attack.

Moreover, martyr Saeed Al-Ali's group, corresponding to the Fire Backup Unit, attacked the sites of az-Zaffata, Dameshkiyeh, and Ali-at-Taher. The fighters could actually confirm that their artillery caused these sites grave losses.
At 1:45, martyr Wissam Fasa'ee's group lay in ambush while a Lahd common car was en route to as-Suweidaa Site. Hit with firearms and artillery, the car was damaged, and each of its passengers got injured or killed.

Also at 2:10, the Resistance monitored enemy troops at as-Suweidaa Site. The troops were fixing the site and rebuilding its mounds after the attack the site suffered some hours earlier.
Instantly, the Fire Backup Unit's barrage struck the troops, causing more losses to the enemy.
On the other hand, an Islamic-Resistance fighter, engineer Issam Mattar, was martyred while on a jihad mission.


Islamic Resistance Shells Lahd-Zionist Reinforcements at al-Kantara Site, February 27, 1995

Constantly watchful and aware of the moves of the enemy and the agents, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit shelled Lahd-Zionist reinforcements at al-Kantara Site on February 27, 1995. The site suffered serious casualties.


Resistance Foils Lahd Force's Progress to Mlikh Town, February 28, 1995

On Tuesday, February 28, 1995, at 6:00 a.m., the Islamic-Resistance ground anti-aircraft counterattacked Zionist helicopters in the sky of Hariss, Kafra, and Yater.
At 12:00 p.m. on the same day, a Lahd force attempted to infiltrate Mlikh Town so as to perform an aggressive mission. But an Islamic-Resistance group confronted it. Clashing with the force, the fighters foiled its mission and made it retreat from the place.

In reaction to the Zionist aggressions against the residential villages of West Beqaa and the South, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit shelled enemy troops at Braachit Site at 3:20 p.m. on the same day. The fighters' concentrated fire accurately hit the inside of the site.
