The following are the Islamic-Resistance operations that took place during the month of January in 1994...


Resistance Targets Infantry Patrol, January 2, 1994

On January 2, 1994, at 12:15 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Ali Moussa To'me (Military name: Seraj) and Ahmad Dbouk (Military name: al-Horr) bombed an explosive while an infantry patrol was en route to Tallousseh Site.
The Islamic Resistance's statement mentioned that the fighters ascertained the bombing had killed or injured each of the patrollers.

Resistance Foils Zionist-Lahd Progress near Beit Yahoun Crossing Point, January 3, 1994

Again, the Islamic-Resistance fighters have foiled another Zionist-Lahd progress. The Islamic Resistance's statement mentioned: "On Monday, January 3, 1994, at 4:30 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Ali Jahjah monitored Zionist-Lahd troops progressing near Beit Yahoun Crossing Point. Immediately, the group bombarded the troops with mortar shells, causing them several casualties and foiling their mission."

Special information sources in the occupied borderline have stated that several militiamen, including a Lahd officer, Ali Hussein Abbass, were wounded during the operation. As for the agents' channel, it has acknowledged that a Lahd intelligence officer was wounded; whereas "the French Press Agency (AFP)" has pointed out that several Lahd militiamen were wounded.
The Islamic Resistance has offered the following résumé of agent Ali Hussein Abbass's life:

Name: Ali Hussein Abbass; born in 1965

He joined the Lahd Militia since Agent Provocateur Saad Haddad headed it.
He underwent several military sessions of: corral chief, squadron chief (in 1989) and brigadier general (in 1991). He became in charge of the logistic affairs of "Aitaroun Barracks" in 1987 and 1988 and a corral chief of Houla Crossing Point in 1989. Moreover, he was the brigadier of "Houla and Tallouseh Sites" in 1991 and 1992. Starting with August, 1993, he became an operation officer of "the Seventieth Battalion" (of the Lahd Militia).

His aggressions and crimes: chasing youth in the occupied borderline and forcibly recruiting them in the Lahd Militia. He was an alcoholic and a drug addict, and he would assail people's honor and rape girls.

Explosive Targets Zionist Patrol En Route to Aramta, January 8, 1994

Commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Moussa Bin Jaafar al-Kathem (Literally: The Indulgent Imam; the seventh Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household; Peace be upon them), the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Ali Hejazi (Abu Ra'ed) bombed an explosive while a Zionist patrol was en route to Aramta on Saturday, January 8, 1994, at 4:25 p.m. The Islamic Resistance's statement has declared that the operation caused several casualties to the patrollers.

Islamic Resistance Attacks Lahd Patrol En Route To al-Kantara, January 9, 1994

In the afternoon of Sunday, January 9, 1994, martyr Ibrahim al-Hajj's group ambushed a Lahd patrol en route to al-Kantara. The Islamic Resistance's statement has declared that as soon as the patrol reached the required spot, the fighters struck it with a barrage, making the patrollers suffer several casualties.

The Islamic Resistance iterates the resistance choice, which is the way to confront the Zionist enemy and liberate the occupied Lebanese lands. As well, the Resistance is marking the blessed Hijri month of Ramadan - the month that God's Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his Household) loved. The Resistance is also commemorating the birth of Imam as-Sajjad (Literally: The Imam of Devoted Prostration to Allah; the fourth Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut). Thus, the Faithful-Resistance* group of martyr Ali Trabulsi and martyr Hamzah Nassereddine planted an explosive bomb on Deir Syriane-Alman Route. While a Zionist-Lahd force was patrolling at 10:25, the fighters bombed the explosive, killing two patrollers and wounding several others."

Resistance Attacks Zionist-Lahd Patrol Progressing to Sojod Site Surroundings, January 19, 1994

On Wednesday, January 19, 1994, at 2:00 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance fighters monitored a Zionist-Lahd patrol of the engineering-weaponry branch. The patrol was progressing to the surroundings of "Sojod Site"; consequently, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Haidar Haidar struck the patrollers with a barrage. The Islamic Resistance's statement has added that the fighters foiled the patrol's mission as they killed many patrollers and forced the others to retreat from the place.

Islamic Resistance Ambushes Zionist Patrol En Route to ad-Dabsheh Site, January 20, 1994

Marking the blessed Hijri month of Ramadan, the Islamic-Resistance fighters performed an operation against the occupation forces and Lahd agents, causing them several casualties. The Islamic Resistance's statement has mentioned that a group of fighters ambushed a Zionist patrol en route to ad-Dabsheh Site on Thursday, January 19, 1994, at 2:40 p.m. Once the patrol reached the required spot, the fighters struck it with their rocket shells and machine guns, making the patrollers suffer several casualties. Meanwhile, a group of the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit was razing ad-Dabsheh Site.

Explosive Bomb Targets Zionist-Lahd Infantry Patrol in Houla Town, January 23, 1994

Commemorating the birth of the Awaited Imam al-Mahdi (Literally: The Guided Imam; the twelfth Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut); May God hasten his noble reappearance), the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Lotfi Khaled and martyr Shadi az-Zein bombed with an explosive a Zionist-Lahd infantry patrolling in Houla Town on Sunday, January 23, 1994, at 11:15 a.m. The Islamic-Resistance statement has declared that the operation caused many casualties to the patrollers. The fighters have as well confirmed that they shot three patrollers dead.

Jihad Operation Series Marks Imam al-Mahdi's Birth (May God Hasten His Noble Reappearance), January 24, 1994

On January 24, 1994, the Islamic Resistance performed a series of heroic operations against several Zionist-Lahd sites and patrols. In a detailed statement concerning these operations, the Resistance has declared:

"Marking the birth of the Awaited Savior Imam al-Mahdi (Literally: The Guided Imam; the twelfth Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut); May God hasten his noble reappearance), the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Ibrahim Olleik ambushed a Zionist motorcade consisting of a common car and a Reo truck while it was en route to ash-Shumarieh Site on January 24, 1994, at 1:15 p.m. As soon as the patrol reached the required spot, the Resistance fighters struck it with their machine guns and rocket shells, causing it many casualties.

Furthermore, after the Zionists had barbarically bombarded the residential towns of Kabrikha, Touline, and Tameriyeh, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Haidar Asaad struck al-Kantara Site with machine guns and artillery. God willing, the fighters killed two garrison soldiers and demolished the site mounds."
Also among the operation series marking the birth of Imam al-Mahdi (May God hasten his noble reappearance), martyr Ali Mistrah's group broke into Alman Site on Monday, January 24, 1994, at 4:05 p.m. The fighters machine-gunned three site-garrison members and demolished the site mounds and constructions.

As Zionist reinforcements began to arrive in the operation zone, the group of martyr Ibrahim Olleik lurked. The fighters stunned the Zionist troops, clashed with them, and forced them to retreat from the place. Devastated, the enemy sent its helicopters to evacuate the corpses and provide aerial cover for the exhausted forces and two Merkava tanks heading to ash-Shumarieh Site. Fire flames could be seen arising from the site.

Fire Backup Unit Machine-Guns Zionist-Lahd Troops at Alman Site, January 26, 1994

After the Zionist aggressions against the southern villages, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit counteracted by machine-gunning the enemy troops and Lahd agents gathered at Alman Site. The troops and militiamen suffered casualties.

Islamic-Resistance Snipers Gun Four Zionists Down at ad-Dabsheh Site, January 31, 1994

On January 31, 1994, the Islamic-Resistance snipers gunned four Zionists down at ad-Dabsheh Site. The Islamic Resistance has issued a statement declaring:
"Marking the blessed Hijri month of Shaaban and commemorating the birth of the Awaited Savior Imam al-Mahdi (May God hasten his noble reappearance), the Islamic-Resistance Sniping Unit thrice struck the Zionist enemy on January 31, 1994. The Resistance Sniping Unit actually performed that by positioning several groups in different places overlooking ad-Dabsheh Site.

As such were the details:

At 11:20 a.m., martyr Fouad Madani's group gunned two soldiers down at ad-Dabsheh Site, and at 12:00 p.m., martyr Hassan al-Hajj's group shot another soldier at the same site. Then at 2:15 p.m., martyr Ali Sami Qansoh's group gunned a fourth soldier down at the mentioned site.

To the Lord of Our Era and Time, the Awaited Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his noble reappearance), to the Muslims' Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenai, and to the Islamic-Resistance Martyrs' Master Sayyed Abbass al-Moussawi, the Islamic Resistance vows that it will sustain the resistance path - no matter how great the sacrifices are."
"The Faithful Resistance" was the very first resistance movement against the Zionist enemy and later on changed its name to the Islamic Resistance.
