Earlier, the Deputy Chief of "the Seventieth Battalion" Abdul Kareem Mansur had been wounded by the Resistance.

Only a few hours had passed when the Resistance hit again, this time bombarding a motorcade of civil cars, on which several senior Lahd officers were. The Resistance has issued this statement as respects the operation:
"Reacting to the brutal Zionist assails against the South, also seeking to free the land from the desecration of the Zionists and the Lahd militiamen, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Hussein Nasser (Mahdi) perfectly ambushed a Lahd motorcade on Wednesday, April 15, 1994, at 3:00 p.m.

The motorcade reached the ambush spot while it was en route to Beit Lif. Right then, the fighters' barrage struck the motorcade. Actually, several projectiles hit the car on which some Lahd officers were. The car burned, and each of the officers was wounded or killed.
In the meantime, martyr Muhannad Fouani's group attacked Beit Lif Site and destroyed some of its fortifications."

He lived in al-Aychieh Town, where he was born in 1948. He owned a white Mercedes car, which he drove while escorted by five agents approximately.
He began his work with the former Agent Provocateur of "the South-Lebanon Army"* Saad Haddad, whereby he was trained in the Zionist entity. During the "Israeli" invasion in 1982, he took part in the aggression against the southern towns.

In the beginnings of 1993, he became the security chief of ar-Rihan. He had a history full of aggression against the residents, and he was behind arresting many civilians and subjecting them to torture. He played a main role in dislodging the residents of the towns of Aramta, Sojod, ar-Rihan, and Kfarhouna. He held prime responsibility for destroying Sojod Town, too.

Besides, he had lately threatened to destroy Aramta Town several times, and he was in charge of organizing espionage webs in Beirut and the South, whereby the webs would spy for the Zionist enemy.

The Resistance as well is seeking revenge for the innocent martyrs of the steadfast Saida City and Aramta Town in Mount Amel. In fact, Aramta has been suffering the oppression of the Zionists and Lahd militiamen, who have horribly massacred the women and elderly people and dislodged the civilians.

The Resistance will not stand still as the civilians suffer a lot because of the Zionists and Lahd agents. Besides, the Resistance is capable of quick, terminal counteraction, and it warns the criminals that it will strike them back and make them pay much for their massacres and crimes."
