The following are the Islamic-Resistance operations that took place during the month of May in 1994..

Islamic Resistance Performs Twenty-Two Operations in May, 1994

While the Zionist enemy was assailing West Beqaa and the South, the Resistance fighters were monitoring the enemy forces and delivering coups to them.
The Resistance actually seeks revenging for the innocent martyrs and putting an end to the continuous Zionist attempts to subdue the Ummah.

As respects the operations against the "Israeli" occupation and Lahd agents, the Islamic-Resistance Operation Chamber has declared in its monthly report:
"In May, the fighters performed 22 operations as such: 12 cannonades, 6 explosive bombings, 3 attacks, and a sniping operation."


Explosive Targets Zionist Motorcade in ar-Rihan, May 2, 1994

"Abiding by the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance, martyr Hussein Nasser's group bombed an explosive while a Zionist motorcade was on al-Aychieh Route in ar-Rihan Region on Monday, May 2, 1994, at 4:45 p.m. Each of the patrollers was dead or wounded.
Soon, Zionist helicopters and ambulances rushed to the operation zone, and a helicopter landed there to evacuate the casualties."

The statement the Resistance has issued regarding the operation has also added: "A while after the bombing of the first explosive, about twelve Zionist soldiers gathered near the explosion place, so the fighters bombed another explosive, killing or wounding each of those."


Fire Backup Unit Shells Reinforcements at Bir Kallab Site, May 7, 1994

"Determined to strike the filthy enemy back and get it out of the land, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit shelled reinforcements at Bir Kallab Site, May 7, 1994, at 4:30 p.m. The enemy had brought these reinforcements, which consisted of two tanks, a truck, and seven infantrymen, to Bir Kallab Site in order to assail the steadfast townspeople."

The Islamic-Resistance statement concerning the operation has added, "The fighters directly shot these reinforcements and caused them serious casualties."


Explosive Targets Lahd Patrol Heading to Braachit, May 8, 1994

The Islamic Resistance bombed an explosive while a Lahd patrol was en route to Braachit on May 8, 1994. Having as well set an ambush for the patrol, the Islamic Resistance artillerists clashed with it.


Land-Mine Explosion Hits Armored "Israeli" Vehicle on Kawkaba-Souk el-Khan Route, May 9, 1994

A land-mine explosion hit an armored "Israeli" vehicle on Kawkaba-Souk el-Khan Route on May 9, 1994. The armored vehicle, in addition to two others, was doing a ground combing in the area.
In a statement regarding the operation, the Islamic Resistance has said that the soldiers of the targeted vehicle suffered serious casualties.


Lahd Infantry Attacked on Kfarhouna-Jezzine Route, May 13, 1994

Sustaining jihad and adhering to the liberation cause, the Islamic Resistance has delivered more coups to the enemy.
A statement issued by the Resistance has declared:

"Commemorating the martyrdom of Imam al-Jawad (Literally: "The Clement Imam"; the ninth Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut)), the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Abdullah Soufan and martyr Ahmad Sharqawi bombed an explosive while a Lahd infantry was patrolling on Kfarhouna-Jezzine Route on Friday, May 13, 1994, at 7:45 a.m. Three infantrymen died, and two others were wounded.

Consequently, the enemy sent reinforcements to encompass the operation zone. Helicopters as well flew over there, and ambulances rushed to the place to evacuate the casualties."
The agents' channel has acknowledged that an explosive bombing hit one of the Lahd patrols on Aramta-Kfarhouna Route in the morning of May 13, 1994. The channel has added that a militiaman was killed and two others wounded, pointing out that the Islamic Resistance cannonaded the regions of Kfarhouna and al-Aychieh.


Explosive Targets Zionist Mine-Sweeper on al-Aychieh Route, May 14, 1994

On Saturday, May 14, 1994, at 6:20 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr, fighter Ahmad Abdullah Kareem Yasseen bombed an explosive while a Zionist mine-sweeper was on al-Aychieh Route. The explosion demolished the mine-sweeper.

Zionist Troops at Rchaf Site Bombarded, May 16, 1994

Since the Zionists bombarded the civilians of Haddatha, Hariss, and Serbine, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit bombarded Zionist troops gathered at Rchaf Site on Monday, May 16, 1994, at 7:25 p.m.

The Resistance had earlier monitored the movement of eight vehicles and several troops. A statement of the Islamic Resistance has mentioned that the fighters directly shot the site, causing serious casualties to its garrison and vehicles.


Operation Series Marks Anniversary of May 17 Agreement Massacre, May 18, 1994

Sustaining its jihad operations against the occupants, the Islamic Resistance has announced that on Wednesday, May 18, 1994, at 7:00 p.m., a group of fighters bombed an explosive while an "Israeli" tank was on Sojod-ar-Rihan Route. Thus, all crewmen were wounded.
Likewise, another group attacked Sojod Site, razed its fortifications, and caused severe casualties to its garrison.

Also marking the martyrdom anniversary of the martyrs of the rally against the traitorous "May 17 Agreement"*, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Muhammad Najdi* attacked the Lahd Militia's Toumet Niha Site on Tuesday, at 2:55.
Launching rocket shells against the site garrison, the fighters clashed with it about an hour. Thus, the site was directly damage, and each of the garrison soldiers was killed or wounded.

The Islamic-Resistance statement has pointed out that the Fire Backup Unit counterattacked the enemy's fire sources and ceased them.
Further marking the martyrdom anniversary of the martyrs of the rally against the traitorous "May 17 Agreement"*, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Muhammad Suleiman (Military name: Shaheed; Literally: "Martyr") bombed an explosive while a Lahd infantry was patrolling along the way to Toumet Niha Site on Wednesday, May 18, 1994, at 12:00 p.m. Blessed, the fighters killed two infantrymen and wounded two others.

The statement of the Resistance has added: "The fighters saw the deceased soldiers on the ground. The enemy evacuated a corpse from the operation zone, leaving the other one there until 3:30 p.m."
The Lahd Militia's channel acknowledged the occurrence of both operations, claiming that one militiaman was injured when the bomb exploded. In the evening, the channel also admitted that another militiaman was wounded during the attack against Sojod Site.


Islamic Resistance Attacks Lahd-Militia's Rchaf Site, May 20, 1994

"On Friday, May 20, 1994, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Muhannad Fouani attacked the Lahd Militia's Rchaf Site. Using firearms and artillery, the fighters destroyed the site fortifications and directly killed or wounded several Lahd agents."
The statement issued by the Resistance concerning the operation has continued: "Likewise, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit counterattacked the enemy, ceasing the fire sources at Rchaf Site and Hameed Site. Earlier, the enemy had shelled the towns of Braachit and Serbine.

On the day of the blessed pilgrimage, the Resistance iterates that it shall keep defending the steadfast people and the sanctities against the barbaric enemy. The Resistance does believe that sustaining the martyrs' path is the only way to rout the enemy.

Furthermore, the Resistance iterates to its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khaminai that it is ready to offer great sacrifices in order to achieve victory and justice. The Resistance as well announces it shall verily abide by Allah's volition.


Daring Operation Targets Zionist-Lahd ad-Dabsheh Site, May 25, 1994

Still seeking to free the land from the Zionists' desecration, the Islamic Resistance performed a daring operation against the Zionist-Lahd ad-Dabsheh Site on Wednesday, May 25, 1994. Blessed by the Most Esteemed, Almighty Allah, the fighters gunned three Zionist soldiers down.
Earlier, the Zionist-occupation forces had violently shelled the villages facing ad-Dabsheh Site. Actually, the Islamic Resistance counterattacked, bombarding ad-Dabsheh Site and az-Zaffata Site. The fighters directly shot the sites' depots.
The fighters heard strong explosions and saw smoke arising from the depots. Ambulances rushed to the place to evacuate the casualties.


Lahd Troops at Alman and ash-Shumarieh Sites Shot, May 26, 1994

After the Zionists assailed the villages of Kfartibnit, Kaakaiyet el-Jisr, Zawtar el-Charkiyeh (Literally: East Zawtar) and Zawtar el-Gharbiyeh (Literally: West Zawtar), in addition to Mazra'et el-Hamra and the Litani River, the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Ahmad Abdul Kareem Yasseen shelled Lahd militiamen at Alman Site and ash-Shumarieh Site on Thursday, May 26, 1994, at 3:25 p.m.

The fighters directly shot the gatherings, causing them severe casualties. The fighters could see fire flames and smoke arising from ash-Shumarieh Site.
In fact, press sources have reported that in May, the Resistance performed 27 operations against the occupation forces and the Lahd agents. The Resistance killed a Lahd militiaman, injured five others, and damaged four of their vehicles.
In contrast, the Resistance's report points out that the fighters performed 22 operations against the enemy and Lahd agents, whereby many were injured or killed.


*Martyr Muhammad Najdi was martyred by the Lebanese authorities while he was rallying against the May 17 Agreement signed by former Lebanese President Gemayel, the United States, and "Israel" in 1983. The Agreement included very humiliating terms for Lebanon.
