Loyalty to the Resistance bloc: We are for a national-unity government based on participation

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc said that the "Israeli" attack on the Gaza strip is an act of aggression against humanity and the peoples of the world.
"The visit by US President George Bush to the region ahead of the US presidential elections was aimed at reiterating his administration's commitment to protecting the "Israeli" entity and its terrorism," the bloc said in a statement.
The statement reiterated that the bloc welcomes the Arab initiative based on the "no winner, no looser" formula. It also called on the majority party to react positively to the Arab initiative and the efforts aimed at ending the present crisis.
"This must be based on the principle of participation," the bloc said. "The only passage to a solution is the formation of a national-unity government based on participation," it added.
The bloc said that threats of internationalizing the Lebanese situation will not solve existing complications.
