The Resistance has issued the following statement, "The Islamic Resistance has had a continuous struggle with the Zionist enemy, has continuously stricken the coercive Lahd agents, and has repeatedly called the misled militiamen to renounce their collaboration with "Israel" and stop betraying their people and homeland

Thus, agent Hussein Rida, who had been a militiaman of the Lahd Militia, escaped Braachit Site on Wednesday, October 6, 1993, carrying all of his ordnance. He surrendered to one of the Islamic-Resistance groups, accepting any measure the fighters would take and emphasizing that all his mates were looking forward to escaping the Lahd Militia and returning to their families. The Islamic Resistance announces that it considers that this captive is now in safe hands and that he shall receive all care and protection."

A statement the Resistance has issued declared, "Once again the Islamic Resistance reiterates that it will sustain its righteous martyrs' path, which is the only mean to devastate the plots of the Zionist occupation and the Lahd agents.

The operations primarily resulted in killing or wounding twenty Zionist soldiers and destroying a tank, two Reo trucks, and a Poclain bulldozer at Sojod Site. Since the enemy suffered grave casualties, some Zionist helicopters interfered with the battle, attempting to evacuate the wounded soldiers and back the devastated forces; nevertheless, the helicopters couldn't really support the Zionist soldiers.

Having planned well for the attacks and perfectly executed combative tactics, the Islamic Resistance's attacks were a success. Hajj Hassan Jaghbir, from Braachit, was martyred during while participating in these heroic operations."
