The Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary bloc, headed by MP Mohammad Raad, held its regular meeting on Wednesday 23/06/2010.
The bloc discussed the government's performance and its approach to people's circumstances, national matters, and everyday life, in light of the country's priorities, international and regional developments, and the increasing "Israeli" challenge of international laws; These challenges appear in the continuous imposed Gaza siege, persistence of settlement policies, Judaization of Al Quds (Jerusalem) and change of its traditional features, and the increased pace of threats against Lebanon.
The bloc commented on the latest official statement delivered by US Assistant Secretary of State in congress which highlighted the insolent interference in internal Lebanese matters, and distributing 500 million Dollars among Lebanese individuals and authorities to limit Hizbullah's positive image among Lebanese youth, in addition to the American administration's reassurance on committing to the Zionist entity's security.
The bloc emerged with the following:
1. The statements and stances given by some who were out of town to induce foreign interference in internal Lebanese issues for the aim of fortifying oneself does not change the officials and Lebanese people's national certitude; they will not change their commitment to the army, people, and resistance equation in confronting "Israeli" threats and the consisting effort to liberate every single occupied inch in Lebanon and under no condition.
2. The Lebanese government is required to object to the American administration and take serious moves in facing the danger of bribed individuals and authorities by the American Development Agency, and leading Middle Eastern partnership over national unity and Lebanese security, sovereignty, and dignity, and taking actions against those involved.
3. By finally establishing balance, the government should keep up the productive, responsible dialogue with secondary school teachers, to reach a fixed satisfying solution, and to cut the road on any delay that could limit the advantages successful students have with respect to their educational future.
4. The Zionist enemy's indicators and signs regarding deposited oil in the sea bolster the importance of adopting quick procedures and arrangements to commence taking advantage of this dynamic power source, and emphasize on issuing a news law only for examining oil and gas.
5. The international community is required to pressure the Zionist entity to break the siege on Gaza, regardless of any other case. It is also required to establish an international investigating committee that determines the Zionist enemy's responsibility in the terroristic piracy committed against Freedom Flotilla, which it threats to repeat over and over again against activists working on breaking the inhumane unjust siege.
The international community is required to stop the Zionist actions aiming at evacuating Al Quds (Jerusalem) from its native Arab residents, and limit the recent acts of deportation that threatened the MP's of Al Quds (Jerusalem), members of the Palestinian Legislative Committee.
We reaffirm our support to those MPs and denouncement to the Zionist entity, and call Arab, Islamic, and International parliaments to take practical action in this field.
6. Civil and humanitarian rights of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon require parliamentary blocs from various sides to deal in a positive and responsible manner and under the Lebanese constitution and commitment to national agreement. The bloc is open to any objective and calm discussion to come out with a united Lebanese vision on this matter.
