The head of the Democratic Gathering MP Walid Jumblatt continues his latest "inclination"...

A few hours after dispatching his son, Taymour, at the head of a Progressive Socialist Party delegation that took part in the ceremony organized by Hizbullah to commemorate the third anniversary of the Divine Victory against the "Israeli" enemy, Jumblatt re-congratulated the Resistance as well as Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on the victory.

Speaking during a cultural event in the Shouf district, Jumblatt confirmed the "resistant identity" of the mount in general and the Druze community in particular. "We salute, from the resistant mount of Kamal Jumblatt, the mount of the Resistance and reconciliation, the Islamic Resistance and its heroes everywhere. We salute the families of the martyrs and injured from the army, security forces, innocent civilians and Islamic Resistance fighters. We salute the Hizbullah leadership and the person of its Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah," Jumblatt said.

The PSP leader called to establish a new political system that would safeguard the country and protect it from its current crisis, calling on his "friend" the PM-Designate Saad Hariri not to transform the Sunnites to a sect in itself. "This contradicts with history and logic," Jumblatt warned, adding that it's difficult to build a nation without founding a completely new political system.

For his part, the Druze top spiritual leader Sheikh Naim Hassan paid tribute to the martyrs of the Resistance, the army and the nation who fell during the July war. He expressed hope that commemorating the victory's anniversary would be an opportunity for everyone to safeguard national unity and pave the way for the formation of the partnership cabinet as soon as possible.
