Shibani and Aridi meet to discuss Iran΄s efforts to help rebuild areas damaged by 2006 July war

Public Works and Transport Minister Ghazi Aridi met with Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Rida Shibani on Friday to discuss reconstruction in areas damaged during the 2006 July War.
Shibani said he had presented Aridi with a detailed report on the development and construction achievements of the Iranian Board, an aide organization founded by the Islamic Republic. Work on rebuilding infrastructure was especially notable, Shibani said.
Shibani and Aridi also discussed potential obstacles the Iranian Board faced in the coming period, and Shibani said that Aridi had promised to do whatever he could to facilitate the board's operations.
Shibani said that Aridi had expressed gratitude on behalf of the cabinet for Iranian support, adding that Iran was eager to help the government and people of Lebanon overcome all difficulties.
