At a time Lebanese are celebrating the new victory and welcoming their heroes and martyrs after accomplishing "Operation Al-Redwan", the image in the "Israeli" side seems very gloomy as an "Israeli" chief rabbi described this day as "the blackest of all black days from every aspect," adding "I would not wish this on even my worst enemy."
As the "Operation Al-Redwan" between "Israel" and Hizbullah took place Wednesday morning and the images of two coffins of the 2 captured "Israeli" soldiers appeared on television, the settlers from all over Kiryat Motzkin arrived in the family's building and began an impromptu memorial ceremony.

Brother of one of the "Israeli" captured soldiers told the scores of reporters that the family was "aware of all the security and medical assessments, which presume his brother is no longer alive," adding, "We're paying a high price for them."

Other settlers criticized "Israeli" Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, saying the soldiers died for nothing, and vowed revenge against Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
There were similar scenes in the nearby town of Nahariya where the family of another captured soldier hit out at Sayyed Nasrallah for making the family waits for so long for a confirmation of his death. He also blasted the hero's welcome being prepared in Lebanon for Samir Kintar.
Knesset Member Talan El-Sana sent his condolences to the families of killed "Israeli" soldiers, saying that "the decision to hold negotiations for the deal's execution was a wise and just decision."
"The decision stresses the absurdity and irresponsibility in embarking on a military adventure which led to killing and destruction with no results," he added.
Former "Israeli" Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom criticized "Operation Al-Redwan" saying that "this operation will make us pay a high price to release Gilad Shalit ("Israeli" soldier captured by Palestinian resistance fighters) who is still alive." Shalom added that this operation opened a huge gap wondering why we ("Israel") launched July war if we will turn to a swap deal to return the two captured soldiers.
