Iranian Speaker of Parliament, Ali Larijani expressed his concern over the devastating situation which Palestinian children are living in "Israeli" jails.
According to IRNA, Larijani said, "The difficult situation that Palestinian children and teenagers are dealing with in "Israeli" prisons is indicative of their innocence".
Iranian Speaker also added, "Palestinian children are in a very difficult situation and we can assist Palestinians and Muslims throughout slogans and thoughts".
Statistics by Save the Children, a US nongovernmental organization, revealed that more than 6,700 children were arrested between October 2000 and April 2009.
Furthermore, a children's rights group, Defense for Children International (DCI), said that "Israel" is regularly arresting Palestinian children who are of 12 years old and more.
Rifaat Kassis, Head of DCI Palestine Office, said that the number of arrested Palestinian children rose sharply in 2009, mainly because the country burst into protests after the "Israeli" military aggression on Gaza.
