Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that "what is happening in the region is basically a US-Saudi scheme that has failed in Iraq and Lebanon and on the path of being toppled in Syria."

Addressing a crowd of people commemorating a week on the martyrdom of Leader Martyr Ali al-Asheq [Abbas] and martyr Mohammad Nassereddine, Sayyed Nasrallah condoled the families and sacrifices of both martyrs' families. " I congratulate all the relatives of the martyrs on this great martyrdom and I console them over the loss of these loved ones," His Eminence stated.

He further added that "There are tens of families that have sacrificed their lone male children in sake of resisting "Israel" and terrorist groups."

In parallel, the Resistance Leader clarified that "Hezbollah won't allow a youth under 18 to join unless he has the signature of his parents. We ask them for a written approval and I used to ask those around me to check and make sure that they [the families] indeed approved."

In this context, Sayyed Nasrallah elaborated: "Some of them bypass the vetting process in one way or another and sometimes their parents pressure the Resistance's officials so that they would accept them. Recently, I asked the [commanders] to stop taking any only child to the front [lines], even with the approval of their parents."

To all those who accuse Hezbollah that we force youth to fight in the front, he stated: "It's their families who are driving them for Jihad and this is one of our national wealth. When I know under 18 is martyred in the front, I open an investigation into the matter. But you see that when someone less than 18 years old dies, we are criticized. When we open an investigation, it turns out that this boy went to the front using a someone's influence. What makes these relatives and parents offer their children in this manner?"

Meanwhile, he cited an example of a letter he had received from a mother with a lone child.

According to Sayyed Nasrallah, the woman accused us of preventing her son from fighting to defend Sayyeda Zainab.

"There are cases in which the mother is widowed and [the boy] is an only son with sisters who need him and it is the mother who asks him to go," he mentioned, addressing all of those who are planning to confront this resistance by saying: "Such mothers, fathers and wives are the sources of our strength."

On the traits of the Martyr Leader Abbas al-Ashk, His Eminence highlighted that he is one of the main resistance's field Leaders in confronting the terrorist groups and achieving the 2nd Liberation.

"Martyr Ali al-Asheq was one of the leaders of the first victory in the year 2000 and one of the leaders of the 2nd liberation," he added, noting that "one of the most important characteristic of Haj Abbas is his presence in the battle's front lines."

"When the residents of the Bekaa Valley slept at night, Hajj Abbas's eyes remained open .The Bekaa and the villages in Baalbek and Hermel are enjoying security, peace and tranquility because there are leaders such as al-Hajj Abbas and martyrs like the martyr Mohammed Nassereddine." Sayyed Nasrallah confirmed.

Back to the beginning of Leader al-Asheq's role in the Resistance, His Eminence unveiled that since the beginning of his youth, the martyr joined the resistance.

He also hailed the martyr's big role in the 2000 liberation as well as his role as one of the field commanders who led to 2006 victory.

"After things developed in the region and the takfiri terrorism emerged, in the northeastern Lebanese border, in this battle he was there. Starting from the Qusair battle, Qalamoun, Zabadani and Aleppo, which changed the course of things in Syria, to the outskirts of Arsal and the final Qalamoun battles, he was also there," Sayyed Nasrallah underscored.

Meanwhile, the Resistance Leader mentioned that "these two men were martyred in the Syrian deserts. The battle against Daesh doesn't end before [the group] is eliminated. Tens of thousands of kilometers were taken back from Daesh, which is still present in the city of Deir al-Zor and in the province, in Mayadin and Al-Bukamal."

He also reiterated that all of the Resistance's martyrs have fallen either on the front lines fighting the enemy or from assassinations. "This is what makes our Resistance special."

His Eminence went on to say: "These martyrs were martyred in an inevitable battle that won't end until the elimination of Daesh [Arabic Acronym for the terrorist "ISIS""ISIL" group]."

As His Eminence warned that "Daesh will try to expand again. Daesh will attempt to carry out more battles again because it does nothing else but to kill and destroy," he highlighted that "Daesh is planning to return to all the areas that it was dragged out from, including Lebanese Arsal. But Daesh is on the road to being eliminated."

Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah unveiled that "sometimes, the American air forces are preventing the Syrian army and its allies from advancing in the areas controlled by Daesh. The Americans are the ones who are delaying the conclusion of the battle against Daesh."

"The battle in Syria's Badia [desert] region, Deir Ezzor, Mayadeen, al-Boukamal and the Syrian-Iraqi border was inevitable and it is still inevitable because Daesh will only end through its complete eradication," he said.

In addition, His Eminence stated that "the US did not want to end Daesh in al-Ain outskirts, Ras Baalbek and Qaa. They even pressured and threatened the Lebanese state and army."

"What do you call this? Isn't this a protection of Daesh? Why is it that the US is looking to extend Daesh's time? And even in Iraq, the United States was looking to prolong Daesh's presence for another 10 or 20 years," he added.

Sayyed Nasrallah underscored that the US has the policy of extending Daesh that has a mission of destroying Lebanon and Syria. "Daesh was recently ousted from a lot of cities and towns, and if anyone believes that the battle must stop before reaching the Syrian-Iraqi border, I tell them that Daesh would attack again and would wage wars and battles because this is its only project."

On the same front, Sayyed Nasrallah warned that "there is a new Saudi-American scheme for our region : Syria, Iraq and others as well. This scheme has failed in Iraq and Lebanon, and it is moving to its end in Syria. It also failed in Yemen and Bahrain."

As he explained that the problem to this scheme isn't any more related to Iran's nuclear program, he Hezbollah Secretary General mentioned that "the real problem is that Iran forms the main obstacle and essential factor in toppling the Saudi-American scheme in the region."

In parallel, he cautioned that US President Donald Trump's strategy in dealing with Iran, a main regional power, will affect the whole region.
Moving to another title, Sayyed Nasrallah addressed the talk of new US sanctions on Hezbollah

"The banks and companies that deal with Hezbollah will be punished. They say that this is support for terrorism to offer money and this is a form of pressure."

On this level, the Resistance Leader added: "There is concern in Lebanon that these sanctions will affect the Lebanese economy. However, this is not new given that the Lebanese state managed before."

Admitting that "the American decision of sanctions is bigger than Lebanese state," he underscored that "Hezbollah supports the Lebanese official effort to isolate the economic situation from these sanctions."

Regarding Hezbollah's stance, Sayyed Nasrallah added: "This is part of the battle and we will shoulder the responsibility."

He further assured that "those who sacrificed these men can take the burden of these sanctions. These sanctions won't impact Hezbollah's course."

Commenting on Saudi Arabia's so-called Minister of State for Arab Gulf Affairs-Thamer al-Sabhan- call for an international coalition to fight Hezbollah, Sayyed Nasrallah viewed that this little man doesn't deserve a response.

"Ironically, there are some positive aspects to his words that the sanctions alone won't work against Hezbollah: He admits that Hezbollah is a big regional power in and that forming an internal coalition to fight Hezbollah won't work because Hezbollah is bigger than this. He also admits that Saudi Arabia alone can't do anything against Hezbollah and this is why he needs an international coalition."

In addition, he confirmed that "if Saudi Arabia sits aside, peace will prevail. Before Saudi Arabia interfered in Syria and Iraq, things were better."

"Let Saudi Arabia leave Lebanon alone and it will be fine and the same with Yemen. Even the United Nations blacklisted Saudi Arabia for its massacres," His Eminence mentioned, pointing out that "Hezbollah is among the factors that caused regional security to be threatened by Saudi Arabia, "Israel" and its allies. Regional peace and security can be achieved when Saudi Arabia stops backing Wahhabi groups. Saudi Arabia is preventing security and peace in Yemen, Bahrain, Iraq and Pakistan."

Assuring that " what has passed is much worse than what will come," Sayyed Nasrallah affirmed that "neither the US sanctions nor the "Israeli" threats and the Saudi intimidation are to affect us.

On the internal front, Sayyed Nasrallah urged all sides to preserve stability in the country.

"We want parliamentary elections to take place on time," he reiterated calling for adopting the salary scale and that the Lebanese state to take care of people's needs."

Moreover, His Eminence sent a sounding message to all who might be concerned:

"We need a unified Lebanon. The hand that will be extended to harm this country will be cut off regardless where it may come from."

He then praised the role of Lebanese President Michel Aoun: "Michel Aoun is definitely not an agent of Hizbullah. However, what bothers the Americans is that they want the president of Lebanon to be a spy for them, but Aoun isn't like this. They want a president who is an agent for them and who is subservient to the US Embassy in Awkar. President Aoun is a genuine national guarantee."
