"Israeli" barbarians physically abuse Palestinian women

Women in the occupied Palestinian territories are suffering the full range of human rights violations perpetrated by the "Israeli" occupiers, including collective punishment, extra-judicial executions, excessive and disproportionate use of force, willful killings, unjustified arrests and hard conditions and abuse at prisons, as well as house demolitions and land razing.
They continue to suffer routine intimidation and harassment by the "Israeli" occupation forces at military checkpoints, including being subjected to public strip searches, verbal abuse and threats of both a physical and sexual nature.
And recently, Samar Subeih, a 22- year- old Palestinian woman who had been held in "Israeli" prisons while being pregnant for allegedly gearing up explosive pelts, grenades and chemicals used for manufacturing homemade rockets on behalf of Hamas movement, suffers serious health deteriorating, abuse and sub-human living conditions in the jail, noticias.info wrote.
None of the charges raised against Samar were proved.
"Israeli" soldiers arrested Mrs. Subeih in September 2005, dragging her from her house in Tulkarem while being pregnant in her second month, according to the Ministry of Prisoners and Ex- Detainees.
The day following Samar's arrest, "Israeli" soldiers arrested Rasmi Subeih, Samar`s husband and put him in administrative detention for six months.
"Israeli" soldiers rounded Samar's house, asking all residents through loudspeakers to get out naked and raising their hands up. Soldiers took Samar to an armored personnel carrier and told her to take off her clothes, but when she refused, they threatened her with killing. They took her to Al Maskobyia interrogation center; blindfolded and handcuffed.
At Al Maskobyia, "Israeli" female soldiers searched her naked.
Samar spent more than two months of interrogation at Al Maskobyia center- she lost weight and her health majorly deteriorated due to pregnancy as interrogation rounds extended to 3-4 hours daily then to 12 hours.
She was subject to physical and psychological abuse at the hands of the "Israeli" soldiers who were trying to force her admit charges they claimed against her.
They threatened to abort her, bombard her house; arrest her mother and brothers, together with disgusting insults and curses.
But the most shocking of the treatment Samar received from the "Israeli" barbarians is when "Israeli" warder brought her husband to one of Al Maskobyia cells and ordered her to watch through eyehole her husband while being tortured during interrogation; also blindfolded with his hands and feet cuffed.
Samar was transferred to hospital for checkup. Her medical records showed that she and her fetus weight continue to drop, as the prison administration continued extending the number of interrogation hours and psychological pressures, according to Hanan Al Khateib, Samar`s affidavit to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
