DIARY OF RESISTANCE OPERATIONS – June 2000
The following are the Islamic-Resistance operations that took place during the month of June in 2000...
Islamic Resistance Iterates Operations to Go On Until Perfect Liberation
Directed by Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Islamic Resistance iterated they were going to keep striking all occupation troops until all Lebanese lands were liberated.
"As long as the Zionist enemy still occupies some Lebanese lands, the Resistance maintains their right to perform operations," His Eminence confirmed.
The fighters now began to cleanse the remains of the occupation sites in the liberated regions. On June 5, 2000, the fighters blasted the mounds of the Lahd-Militia sites on Ain Qania Hill, in Zemrayyah, and by al-Hamam Curve. The fighters then posted the standards of the Islamic Resistance and Hizbullah onto the mounds.
For now, the "Israeli" occupation officers launched political and media campaigns to justify their occupation in the Lebanese Shebaa Farms. A high-ranking Zionist officer declared Hizbullah was planning to abduct "Israelis" inside occupied Palestine. The officer said, "Although they've ceased their attacks since "Israel" withdrew from South Lebanon, Hizbullah have not changed their ideology or aims."
"I know why relative calm prevails along the borders," the Zionist officer continued, "all indicators tell us Hizbullah still want to head an Islamic revolutionary scheme."
For its part, "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported that the so-called "Northern Command" was afraid Hizbullah might perform operations to abduct "Israeli" soldiers along the Lebanese borders with occupied Palestine.
"Hizbullah will make use of the imprisonment of Lebanese and Palestinian captives in "Israeli" prisons so as to abduct soldiers and settlers."
Director of the "Israeli" military intelligence, Major General Amos Malka, again warned that ""extreme" Palestinian and Lebanese sides had devised a plan to abduct "Israeli" soldiers and civilians."
Addressing "the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee" during a session at the Zionist "Knesset", he said, "The information the "Israeli" security systems collected made the military command emphasize that all soldiers abide by the strict rules as to riding vehicles. The soldiers must not ride any vehicle without checking them, and they must not ride alone or at night."
On the same issue, the "Israeli" Chief of the so-called "Northern Command" Gabi Ashkenazi said, "Hizbullah owns rockets of a 100-km range. In a few seconds, they can strike along the borders. And they can join their Palestinian allies in case a military confrontation with "Israel" takes place."
Ashkenazi now pointed out, "Hizbullah fighters are positioned near the borders. "Israel" thinks Hizbullah probably own long-range Katyusha-rocket launchers, which can strike main cities like Haifa, Natanya, and Herzliya near Tel Aviv.
So we're getting ready for all possibilities. We are not certain Hizbullah have planned to perform operations or any other "terrorist" attacks against "our" borders in the offing... But if they want to, then they'll do it in seconds."
Having been in South Lebanon earlier, an "Israeli" military officer declared to the enemy's radio, "Most probably, Hizbullah will make a security act to pressure "Israel" to free the captives... Our struggle against Hizbullah confirms they do what they say. So it is essential that we be on guard and that we do whatever it takes to foil Hizbullah's plans."
