Self-Sacrifice Martyr: Haitham Sobhi Dbouk
"Think not of those who are slain in God's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord"

?Who is he
On the 4th of September 1968, Haitham Dbouk was born in the city of Tyr in South Lebanon. He was not like other kids; he was very calm and rarely spent time playing with them. He would rather sit and read books, and ponder about the bitterness of the "Israeli" occupation and savageness of aggressions.
Haitham finished his elementary education in the Saint Joseph school in Tyr. He continued his intermediate and secondary education in the Tyr public school and Jaafaria School, until the year 1983 when he graduated from high school with a degree of distinction.
Simultaneously, he studied religion and was dedicated since the early years of youth. Unfortunately, in 1978 the "Israeli" enemy destructed his home, which forced Haitham and his family to move to other houses in Abassiyeh and Maarakah villages in the South.
Haitham then got the chance to join the resistance when he met some of the mujahideen with whom he performed the prayers in the mosque. Growing up, the martyr was known for his kindness, wisdom, and modesty. He was kind to the poor and needy, and supported them financially too. He was also obedient to his parents, and applied the Quranic verse "and speak to them a generous word" (Verse 23 of Surat al Israa-Chapter 17).
In Battlefield:
Haitham's dream was to sacrifice himself for the sake of the cause, and bring well-being to his homeland and people. It was an idea on which he insisted, until that day arrived. On Friday, the 9th of April 1988, coinciding with the 7th of the Hijri month of Muharram, he loaded his car with explosives and waited for the "Israeli" military patrol that carried no less than 50 soldiers at Tal al-Nhas, as it advanced from occupied Palestine through the Marjeyoun district.
The operation succeeded, the military usurping patrol was destroyed which rocked the "Israeli" entity, and another victory was achieved.
All work as one in their labor to meet God the Exalted.
