Bellemare Hands Indictment to Fransen, Content to Remain Secret

The Registrar of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), Herman von Hebel confirmed in a statement issued Monday, that the STL General Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare has presented the indictment to the Pre-Trial Judge Daniel Fransen.

The documents and evidences related to later former PM Rafiq Hariri's assassination were handed in to the tribunal's registry at 16:35 Monday afternoon, January 17, 2011.

Pre-Trial Judge Fransen will examine the presented documents, while the content of the indictment will remain secret at this stage of time.
