Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the Iranian nation triumphed in thwarting multiple plots hatched by arrogant powers, reiterating the significance of maintaining vigilance against persisting enemy schemes.

In an address to a massive crowd of cheering people in the predominantly Sunni city of Kangavar in western Iranian province of Kermanshah Wednesday morning, Sayyed Khaminei said that US policies across the globe, particularly in the Middle East, have been foiled thanks to the resistance of the Iranian nation.

The Imam said that US officials have been angered by the Iranian nation, adding that the American authorities have even complained that the Islamic Iran has played a role in thwarting Washington's policies, particularly in the Middle East.

He reiterated that evil powers know that awakened nations in the region esteem our country, adding "They are utilizing all means to prevent Iran and Iranians from emerging as a model for the Islamic Awakening movement and block the spread of popular resistance to other nations."

Imam Khamenei cautioned how the enemy has persistently sought to portray an "inappropriate image" of the Islamic Republic to regional nations.
The Spiritual leader also urged the media to exercise due caution in making remarks and disseminating information that would, intentionally or unintentionally, assist the enemy in achieving its anti-Iran objectives.
Furthermore, Ayatollah Khamenei described resistance against arrogant powers as an "outstanding feature" of the Iranian nation and stated that the enemy intends to block the emergence of Iran as a role model among regional countries.

However, the revered Leader highlighted that Iran is currently looked upon as a role model by regional nations.
