The Syrian President Bashar Assad warned that threats and obstructions are not the most suitable solution for the Iranian Nuclear file; especially that it is not separate from the Middle East stability issue.

Assad also stressed that each country has its right to purchase its peaceful nuclear program.

In a joint Press Conference in Minsk with his Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko, Syrian President reaffirmed that the Arabs want peace but "Israel" is not abiding by what it should in order to achieve so.

In this context, President Assad referred that peace would only spread by the implementation of international UN Security Council resolutions, in addition to the Arab initiative for peace.

Syrian President praised Belarus for its supportive stances; especially in what concerns Syria's right of returning the occupied Golan territories, also the Palestinian cause and its peoples' right of return.

On his behalf, Belarusian President Lukashenko, revealed a planned trilateral summit to be held in Damascus, between Syria, Belarus, and Venezuela, in which they would discuss important issues including launching a gas pipeline between the countries.
