Sayyed Safieddine: Adopting U.S. policies won´t benefit Lebanon nor push it to where it was 3 years ago

His Eminence stressed in a speech at an Ashoura gathering, held by the Islamic Religious Education Association in al-Jinan Hall of al-Batoul High School on Airport Road, that "Those who did not like the consensus and results reached by the homeland of mended stands and a rallying behind the citizens' concerns and priorities, cannot hinder the consensus process Lebanon embarked on", pointing out that "The U.S. and some weaker Western countries attempt to blur this consensus among the Lebanese, for we are well aware of the American motives behind targeting Lebanon's strengths."

Sayyed Safieddine pointed out that "The U.S. Administration has always considered 'Israel' its priority", adding that "It is objectionable that some in Lebanon still want the doors and windows open to U.S. policies and priorities as if they insist on returning to past experiences."

Sayyed Safieddine addressed them by saying "To return to experiences of past three years is not possible", adding that "These some are nostalgic for the kind of speeches of the recent past, which did not and will not benefit Lebanon."

He added saying "The adoption of U.S. policies will not help any of you, nor will they take Lebanon back to where it was three years, because the country has embarked on a consensus path which it will continue"

His Eminence called on everyone "To pay attention to the country's interests and to all that 'Israel' plans from projects and schemes at the level of targeting Lebanon."

It is noteworthy that Hizbullah Chairman of the Executive Council, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine under the title "Rumors" for his talk, he discussed the methods the Zionist enemy used against the resistance such as rumors, psychological warfare and spending large amounts of money in the area of deception.
