Fayyad: "Israel´s" planting spy devices is a flagrant violation of resolution 1701

Member of Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Dr. Ali Fayyad, declared today that: "The ‘Israeli' enemy's laying of a network of advanced spy devices inside Lebanese territory, is an escalation in ‘Israeli' violations of Lebanese sovereignty and security."
Fayyad felt that "This raises two fundamental issues: the first, regarding Lebanon's need to increase vigilance and caution, and to develop monitoring procedures of enemy moves toward Lebanese territory; the second issue relates to putting question marks on the angle of the UNIFIL forces role in protecting Lebanese sovereignty, as it is a cause to wonder that in areas of their deployment, UNIFIL forces efforts are focused on monitoring the movement of the Lebanese, while it does not give the necessary attention to prevent frequent and prolonged ‘Israeli' targeting of Lebanese territory."
He added: "Given this angle, the laying of ‘Israeli' networks constitutes a flagrant violation of resolution 1701 that requires a clear, strong and unambiguous stand by United Nations that holds ‘Israel' directly responsible and accountable for violating the UN resolution, and to condemn and take action against it."
In conclusion he pointed out that the resistance role in the detection of technical espionage networks underlines once again the need for the resistance and its effectiveness in maintaining national Lebanese security, showing its increased capabilities in the face of ‘Israeli' technical and security capacity."
