Zionist Enemy´s New Failure: Resistance Uncovers "Israeli" Spy Devices in the South

Three suspected "Israeli" spy cables were uncovered in South Lebanon according to reports published on Sunday, each 50 meters (roughly 164 foot) long, were discovered near an "Israeli" post at the northern border, and it was later released that they had been detonated. Sources in Lebanon said that two of the devices were remotely detonated by the "Israeli" army and the third one was destroyed by the Lebanese army.

The wired cables were connected to a broadcast post equipped with cameras in the Upper Galilee "occupation settlement" of Menara, in occupied Palestine.

As part of what the "as-Safir" Lebanese newspaper described as "open intelligence war with the enemy," the Lebanese National Army and Lebanese Hizbullah Resistance succeeded to expose two espionage devices in the framework of an "Israeli" attempt to spy inside Lebanese territory.

Following the exposure the "Israeli" army decided to detonate the devices.
The incident comes as another painful blow to "Israeli" espionage networks in Lebanon which proves that the resistance is ready for any development with the enemy and shows coordination between the army and the resistance, thus making Lebanon no longer a safe ground for enemy agents' operations, espionage or spy devices.

UN official: devices a violation of ceasefire

A U.N. investigation into explosions in south Lebanon indicated on Sunday that "Israel" had planted the spy devices on Lebanese land in what a senior U.N. official said would be a violation of a ceasefire agreement.

The UNIFIL peacekeeping force in Lebanon said its preliminary probe into two explosions in the south showed they had been caused by the detonation of underground sensor devices.
Reuters was told by Michael Williams, the U.N. special coordinator for Lebanon that "These do look like some sort of espionage device."

"Israel" "feared for one reason or another that they might be discovered and proceeded to destroy them by exploding them remotely," the official said.
Lebanese troops "located another device and exploded it on Sunday morning" after going to the area on Saturday night with UNIFIL peacekeepers..

Lebanese Army fires at violating craft

The Lebanese military official also said anti-aircraft guns fired at an "‘Israeli' MK-type reconnaissance aircraft which violated Lebanese air space, overflying the southern region of Bint Jbeil." 

Lebanon has repeatedly complained of violations of its air space by "Israeli" aircraft in defiance of the UN Security Council resolution which ended the 2006 conflict.
"The army fired because the aircraft was within range," the official added. 

According to other sources the Lebanese army's command had informed UNIFIL Commander General Claudio Graziano before deciding to open fire at any "Israeli" aircraft which will violate the Lebanese sovereignty.

Special UN Coordinator calls on "Israel" to stop violations

Meanwhile, UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Michael Williams called on "Israel" to ‘halt daily air violations', while addressing reports on the circumstances surrounding the ‘Tair Felsay' village incident of last week, with "Israel" claiming to have obtained video footage proving that Hizbullah is amassing ballistics south of the Litani River. Hizbullah released footage showing that that an alleged rocket was only the rolled-up door to a garage. 

UN Security Council Resolution 1701 was drafted to end "Israel's" 34-day summer war on Lebanon in 2006 and stipulates "there will be no authority in Lebanon other than that of the Lebanese state." 

Williams himself told LBC last week that The United Nations has repeatedly called on "‘Israel' to halt its daily air violations over Lebanon," he said.

Williams said that in addition to aiding Lebanon to improve management of its borders, the UN was also seeking a solution that would lead to "Israeli" withdrawal from the occupied Shibaa Farms and the northern part of Ghajar.
As Williams was issuing his plea, an "Israeli" warplane violated Lebanese airspace.
