Palestinian resistance fighters form joint force

In a Tuesday announcement, the groups condemned the efforts to disarm resistance movements under the pretext of establishing security and order, saying the move heavily favors "Israel".

The joined forces consist of fighters from the Fatah-affiliated al-Aqsa Brigades, Hamas military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigades and the Gaza-based Popular Resistance Committee.

The statement added that "the traitors under the cover of nationalists" commit murder, abduction and torture against resistance fighters in the West Bank.

It accused the United States and "Israel" of spearheading the disarmament efforts, saying "those who aim their guns at the resistance" are to be treated like occupiers and traitors.
