Loyalty to the Resistance MP Hussein Al-Hajj Hassan said that US President Barack Obama does not differ from previous presidents, since he is committed to Zionism. This was exemplified in Obama's choice of the White House chief of staff, Rahm "Israel" Emanuel who is "an officer from the Mossad."

Hajj Hassan also said that the US wants to remove all kinds of resistance in the region to achieve its goals; one of them is getting rid of Hizbullah.
He warned the March 14 alliance from talking about the May 7 events, saying it should stop, "or else we will be forced to respond to March 14 despite the Doha Agreement."

Hajj Hassan reconfirmed that "May 7 was a glorious day, because it prevented sedition," adding that it resulted in the president's election and the Doha Agreement.

He went on to say that his bloc "does not deny its ideology" that supports the Guardianship of the Jurist, however, "we do not want to implement it on the domestic level." He went on to explain that the Guardianship of the Jurist "is being exaggerated, since it is 800 years old and was proposed before the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Its aim is religious."

The MP rejected reports that said the opposition proposed a three-way sharing of power between Christians, Sunnis and Shia, since "that would harm our Christian ally Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun. The opposition did not propose a three-way sharing of power and did not come up with a statement regarding the issue."

Shia candidate for the Zahle district Mohsen Dalloul's withdrawal from the upcoming parliamentary elections "benefits the opposition and we will win in Zahle," Hajj Hassan said, adding that "there is significant progress in the Metn district, and there is a big possibility of the opposition breaking the West Bekaa list."
