Head of the Political Council in Hizbullah Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed gave a speech in front of a large gathering waiting outside the General Security director Jamil al-Sayyed's house for his reception, in which he said: "This is a moment of stability and triumph, a moment of happiness, pride, honor and dignity."

Al-Sayyed congratulated the four officers for their liberation calling on the Lebanese judiciary to look those it oppressed in its prisons." Al-Sayyed added saying: "We see the four officers' release as liberation of prisoners of war, rather than prisoners of this system."

The head of the Hizbullah Political Council described holding the four officers for the duration of this period as an affront to the system, the State, the Authority and the Lebanese judiciary."

He called the judiciary for a conscience check, and asked "What would any judge in the democratic countries do, when faced with such a situation? At least apologize and resign."

Al-Sayyed continued saying "This authority was not to have been entrusted with the fate, rights and future of the country, it is not worthy of being entrusted with the blood of martyr Rafik Hariri."

Al-Sayyed said "The other team turned an issue that concerns all the Lebanese to a case in the hands of thieves, murderers and criminals, calling them to put this case in the hands of the free-willed and not with these thieves."

He called on 'March 14' team to hand over to the opposition, the mines map they had placed in the International Tribunal (IT), noting that one of these mines has already exploded in their hands and in their faces."

He called on them to "Spare the Lebanese any additional tragedies and pain, thus restore the country's human image and judicial system."
