US President Joe Biden on Monday will host King of Jordan, Abdullah II, a key US ally in a volatile region, in what will be the first of three face-to-face meetings with officials from the Middle East expected soon.

Abdullah, who faced down a challenge to his authority in April from his half-brother, Prince Hamza, will have his first Oval Office talks with Biden since the US president took power in January.

He will also have a working breakfast with Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday at her residence. He will meet Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the State Department on Tuesday.

Abdullah is the first Middle East leader to visit the Biden White House, to be followed on July 26 by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.

American and ‘Israeli’ officials are working to schedule a meeting soon between Biden and the Zionist entity’s new Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

Bennett reportedly held a secret meeting with Abdullah in the Jordanian capital city, Amman, earlier this month, marking the first meeting between a Zionist prime minister and the King of Jordan in more than five years.

The secret talks between Bennett and Abdullah reportedly led to the decision by Jordan during a meeting between either side’s foreign ministers to buy an additional 50 million cubic meters of water from the ‘Israeli’-occupied Palestinian territories.

While the new Zionist government is working to restore relations with Jordan, the monarchy faces inner turmoil as a Jordanian court last week found two men guilty of sedition and incitement against the crown. Prince Hamzah, the king’s half-brother and former heir to the throne, is accused of attempting to harm the monarchy and destabilize the country.
