Palestinian Hamas resistance movement’s military wing, Izzedine Al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for an operation that targeted an 'Israeli' "Denver"-type jeep near Netiv HaAsara settlement northern Gaza, in which at least two Zionist soldiers were killed, while many others were injured.

Meanwhile, the occupation regime admitted that the jeep was destroyed, two soldiers were killed, and many others injured.

The resistance group stressed that “the operation comes in the course of the "Al-Quds Sword" Operation and in response to the occupation's crimes against the people if Gaza, Quds, West Bank and the entire occupied territories.”

Soon after, the Qassam Brigades bombed the area surrounding the jeep that was targeted with Kornet missile northern Gaza, using 21 mortar shells, apparently to prevent the enemy from removing its injured personnel.
