Trump, Biden Hold 1st US Presidential Debate in Cleveland, Ohio

Republican and Democratic nominees, Donald Trump and Joe Biden, hold their first of three debates ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

The Tuesday debate was held in a venue in Cleveland, Ohio, where the two politicians mostly kept talking over each other and trading insults.

It was the first of three planned debates between the two candidates in the lead up to the election on November 3.

Earlier, the Trump campaign said it had rejected Biden's request for multiple breaks during the debate, which the former vice president's campaign has denied. Trump campaign also said Biden had previously agreed but reversed himself earlier on Tuesday.

The next two debates between two candidates are set to take place on 15 October in Miami and on 22 October in Nashville.
