Syrian Army soldiers, alongside people of Hamo village on Friday blocked a US occupation convoy that was attempting to enter the village, forcing it to leave.

Locals reported that people of Hamo village, backed by the Syrian army personnel, blocked a convoy of 5 military vehicles, which attempted to enter the village, preventing it from advancing and forcing it to retreat.

Also on March 23, Syrian Arab Army personnel and the people of Hamo stopped a US occupation convoy that was attempting to enter the village and forced it to leave.

Some two months earlier, a villager from Hamo blocked another convoy belonging to the US occupation forces by himself, and he was referred to ever since as an icon of perseverance in that area.
