Yemeni Ansarullah Leader Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine al-Houthi stressed to UN Envoy Martin Griffiths who is visiting Sanaa that the initiative presented by the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, demonstrates the Yemenis' keenness to stability and comprehensive political dialogue.

"It is important that the other side benefit from it by stopping their aggression and lift their siege," Sayyed al-Houthi noted.

He further pointed out that the other humanitarian steps presented by the Committee of Prisoners in Sana'a recently, from repeated initiatives to the release of hundreds of war prisoners unilaterally, demonstrate in practice that "we seek to end this suffering due to the US-Saudi aggression."

The Ansarullah leader stressed that it is important to meet Sanaa's step with similar humanitarian ones "to lead to a comprehensive exchange of war prisoners."

Sayyed al-Houthi also discussed the horizon of a possible comprehensive political settlement in these favorable circumstances and ways of humanitarian and economic remedies to reduce "the suffering of our Yemeni people, who suffer from the siege and its consequences."
