Hizbullah: The time has come to exert exceptional efforts to liberate the great Imam and his two companions

On the thirtieth anniversary of Imam Moussa Al-Sadr's disappearance, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
'The anniversary of the abduction of Imam Moussa Sadr, comes this year, when we are missing his gleaming spiritual stature, proud tallness, courageous nationalist position and his radiant Islamic thought, as he is also missed by his brethren and students who have achieved some of the dreams he once held, on those hills he had long called them to fight the enemy in.
They since turned his calls to means for subduing the enemy.
How we wish, O Imam of the resistance, that you could witness your students and brethren today achieve the goals you sought and the miracle you demanded of them. There they are fighting the enemy tooth-and-nail, fully armed, inflicting this enemy with the biggest humiliating defeat in enemy entity's history of wars against Arabs and Muslims.
From Marun al-Ras Hills, to Bint Jbeil, Soola, al-Khiyam, to Wadi al-Hujair and Taybeh, from where you once fired the first shot; the victory you dreamt of materialized through 'the hands of the believers', just as your voice and words once expressed.
Imam al-Sadr's words on the resistance and its arms, the Arab identity of Lebanon, the Palestinian cause and on the disadvantaged and vulnerable, form a beacon of light, a guide for every honorable resistance fighter and every committed national, and they will remain a guide for us on our political and national conduct levels.
Thirty years on the abduction of Imam Al-Sadr and his two companions, the time has come to exert exceptional effort on national, Arab and Islamic world levels to liberate the Imam and his two companions, to bring him back to the arena of his jihad and resistance. Lebanon and the nation today need more than ever before, the presence of this Imam with his outstanding personality.
On this occasion as we, all of us, confirm our belonging to this great Imam, in reviving this just and legitimate cause, we call upon the masses of the resistance, all our beloveds and friends to the widest popular and political participation possible in the oratorical festival called for by the leadership of Amal movement in Nabatiyeh town next Sunday.
We ask God Almighty to return him and his two companions, unharmed their heads held high, to be back with their folk, people and families, within the arenas of their continuous struggle.
