Rocketry Force of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees, on Tuesday, fired a barrage of ballistic missiles on military targets at Najran Regional Airport in southern Saudi Arabia.

"The Rocketry Force fired - thanks to God - a barrage of Badr-1 ballistic missiles on military targets at the Najran Regional Airport and other military targets," Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier-General Yehya Saree said in a brief statement.

Saree said the missiles hit their targets with high accuracy, pointing out that the airport got out of service.

He further noted that the attack comes in response to the aggression crimes, ongoing siege on the Yemeni people and continuous raids, which amounted during the past hours 52 air raids.

Saree added that the targeting process is consistent with international humanitarian law and its customary rules, pointing out that all necessary and preventive measures are taken to protect civilians.

Last Thursday, the Air Force carried out a broad attacks with Qasef-2K drones on warplanes hangers at Najran Regional Airport.
