Tehran – Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani Shamkhani congratulated Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the brave Islamic Resistance men on the anniversary of the July 2006 victory.

In a letter to Al-Ahed News Website, Shamkhani, the military advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, wrote “I congratulate Hezbollah Secretary General Hojjatoleslam and the Muslims Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and all the Islamic Resistance men on the anniversary of the victory in the 33-day war.”

“During the July war, the Islamic Resistance was able to break the legend of the invincible Zionist army,” Shamkhani added.

In his letter to al-Ahed, the top Iranian official stressed that “Today, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon along with the Resistance Front has been able through its sacrifices and dear martyrs, to save the world from the threat of takfiri terrorism.”

He further assumed that the Zionist entity should have recognized that “the resistance men with their watchful eyes are always aware of the Zionist measures, seeking to create evil crises,” stressing that the resistance fighters will deal a blow to the Zionists on all fronts.

Shamkhani also said that “Sayyed Nasrallah’s honesty, courage and insight was a decisive factor in Hezbollah’s role in creating national unity inside Lebanon as well as security and stability on its borders.

“As the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has said, the Zionist entity will not see the coming 25 years,” Shamkhani reiterated, noting that “we will soon witness the day in which Palestine will be liberated and the resistance men will perform prayers in the holy al-Quds by God’s willing.”
