Member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi said on Friday that the campaigns of deportation and looting of the people of the northern provinces in Aden according to regional standards is “the real scheme of the coalition of aggression, under the US orders.”

Al-Houthi’s remarks came in a tweet as the so-called security belt, UAE-backed forces, continue closing ports linking the southern and northern provinces, arresting dozens of people from various Yemeni provinces in Aden, some workers and others traveling through Aden airport and owners of shops, in addition to storming the homes of citizens from the people of those provinces.

He stressed that it is a “destructive project” for Yemen and its social unity.

“The emergence of the destructive project of the aggression and its mercenaries is clear,” he said. "Before carrying out racist attack on the northerners, the aggression depends on the southerners, this is the practice of every mercenary and traitor," referring to arrests and torture in prisons for all anti-coalition militias and assassinations that exceed over more than 400 operations.

Earlier on Thursday, al-Houthi condemned “regional practices” in Aden and several cities in southern Yemen against the people of northern provinces.

He noted that the concept of power and predominance is a rudimentary treatment and remaining idly by against an authoritarian regime “is not fair,” stressing the demise of “the time of conquest and colonization.”
