For 4th Time, Trump Squeezes Saudi Arabia for More Protection-Money!

For the fourth time in less than ten days, US President Donald Trump has reiterated his assertion that Saudi Arabia must pay America for its protection to the Kingdom.

 “Would you say Saudi Arabia is wealthy? Yeah. Right? And I said to the king, you've got to pay. I'm sorry. You've got to pay. We're going to protect, you've got to pay. Get the money. You've got to pay. You've got to pay!” Trump said in the “Make America Great Again” [MAGA] campaign rally in Iowa on Tuesday night,

The US President added that “Iran was going to take over the Middle East in like 12 minutes”.

Just a week ago, on October 2, Trump's comments on Saudi Arabia implied the kingdom's Al Saud monarchy, would collapse without American military support.

Trump said Saudi Arabia's king "might not be there for two weeks" without US military support, further increasing his pressure on one of America's closest Mideast allies over rising oil prices.

Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said in an interview published by Bloomberg on Friday that the Kingdom will not pay the United States anything for its security.

“Actually we will pay nothing for our security. We believe that all the armaments we have from the United States of America are paid for, it’s not free armament. So ever since the relationship started between Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, we’ve bought everything with money”, MBS said.
