I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our Master and Prophet, the Seal of the Prophets, Abi al-Qassem Muhammad Bin Abdullah and his good and pure household and his good and chosen companions and all the prophets and messengers.

Peace be upon you, O my master my lord, O Aba Abdullah and upon the souls that gathered in your courtyard. Peace of Allah be upon you from me for ever as long as I am existent and as long as there are day and night. May Allah not cause this (visit) to be the last of my visit to you (all). Peace be upon al-Hussein, upon Ali ibn al-Hussein, upon the sons of al-Hussein and upon the companions of al-Hussein.

Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you all.

At the beginning, we all turn to the Messenger of Allah on the Day of Ashura and tell him: Peace be upon you, O my master, O the Messenger of Allah. My sincerest condolences to you on the martyrdom of your beloved grandson Abi Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH), whom you were a part of and he who was a part of you.

Peace be upon you, O my master and my lord, O commander of the faithful. Peace be upon you, O my master and my lady, O Fatima al-Zahraa. My sincerest condolences to you on the martyrdom of your beloved and dear Abi Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH) and several of your loved and dear ones.

Peace be upon you, O my masters and my Imams. My sincerest condolences to you on the martyrdom of your beloved and dear Abi Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH).

Peace be upon you O, my master and my lord, O, Saheb al-Zaman, O, ibn al-Hassan, O, to the one we offer our condolences to in this era. My sincerest condolences to you on the martyrdom of your beloved, father and grandfather Abi Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH).

And condolences to all the ones who loved him throughout history and to you, who are gathered today in this field and in square.

I thank you my brothers and sisters for this great attendance throughout the past few nights and days as well as today since the early morning hours. I have been watching on television many young men and women, in particular, who have been standing for hours at the starting point of the march and listening to the Husseini biography for several hours.

You are here today to express your condolences through your great and sincere presence to the master of martyrs, Abi Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH).

Thank you and may Allah reward you for your efforts, tears, your cries, your walk, your hunger, your thirst and your jihad. May Allah’s peace be upon the blood of your martyrs, your wounded, your Mujahideen and your heroes who always expressed this spirit and this attitude.

Dear brothers and sisters, today on the tenth day, we meet again. Over the years we have met in this field or elsewhere, here, in Dahiyeh [the southern suburbs of Beirut].

Between 1992 and today, I have been addressing you. We have been on this Husseini path for many years. Our march is growing, our mobilization is becoming greater, our faith is firmly being established, our will is strengthening and our power is becoming sturdier day by day. Today and on this Husseini path, you and I know and witnessed that by following the path of Abi Abdullah al-Hussein we have experienced victory, pride, dignity, freedom and the creation of liberation and sovereignty. In addition to this participation in Lebanon and in the region there was also advancement in our march and lives at every level.

The real reason is our commitment to this path, this Husseini path, these Husseini words, this Husseini slogan and these Husseini principles. Throughout these decades of our journey, you have proved to be loyal – loyal in blood, financial support, wounds and all forms of participation. You were present in all fields, arenas and squares. All these are the result of the decisive and unequivocal commitment to the school of Abi Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH) that we learned from on the Tenth Day [of Muharram]. We repeat it today to confirm our commitment to this school. Abi Abdullah al-Hussein mapped this path for us throughout history. When Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, Umar ibn Saad and Shimr ibn Ziljawshan gave him one of two options – the sword or humiliation, he said: “Verily, the illegitimate son whom his father was also an illegitimate son too (Ibn Ziyad) offer us only two choices, either the sword or humiliation, and no way that we accept humiliation! Allah, his Prophet, good ancestors, purified mothers, and dignified souls which preferred an honorable death over obeying tyrants, all of them reject that for us!” Ever since we opened our eyes to the world and to life in Lebanon, and we got to know Hussein (PBUH), we set out on this path. We always tell him: We will not choose obedience to tyrants over an honorable death. The honorable death of our leaders and martyrs is proof of our loyalty and our commitment.

Dear brothers and sisters, these crowds today in Dahiyeh, in Baalbek, in Hermel, in Tyre, in Nabatieh, in Majdal Silm, in Bint Jbeil, in the western Beqaa and in many places in Lebanon, in all our villages and cities every day and night as well as around the world serve as evidence of the victory of al-Hussein (PBUH). The atmosphere of grief, sorrow, tragedy and consolation during the past few nights might have confused some people.

This day is defined by firmness, courage and honor. There was also sacrifice, love for the Hereafter and the desire to meet Allah Almighty. There was the Husseini, Abbassi, Zainabi firmness, the firmness of the young and old, men and women. On this day, there was certainty, faith and dependence on God. Some asked God Almighty for his approval and acceptance of sacrifices.

On this day, the blood triumphed over the sword. The blood that runs in your veins over generations defeats the sword. This generation, your blood, the blood of Hussein running in your veins, created the greatest victories over the American, Zionist and Takfiri sword that wanted to humiliate, stab and control this nation.

Dear brothers and sisters, today I will not take long. Usually on the Tenth Day, people are weary under the sun. We have already spoken about most of the political topics that we wanted to discuss last night. But since today is the Tenth, the day in which stances are reaffirmed, you and I reiterate our commitment to the following stance. We reaffirm our stance in front of the entire world for the coming stage as we do every year.

First of all, we renew our commitment to the Palestinian cause and the al-Quds cause through faith, belief and Jihad as well as standing by the oppressed, resisting, persecuted and besieged Palestinian people. We also renew our commitment to support them, back them and stand by them in their pursuit of their legitimate rights, especially in confronting the unjust deal of the century. We salute the marches of return in Gaza and the heroic acts in the West Bank as well as this decisive political and popular commitment of the Palestinians in refusing to surrender and submit to the American will and the unjust deal of the century.

Second, we reiterate standing by the oppressed, suffering and resisting Yemeni people, who have been enduring an ongoing Karbala each hour of every day for almost four years. The Karbala of this era is taking place in Yemen in every sense of the word. You will find that the injustice that the oppressed Yemeni people are suffering from is the same injustice, estrangement, siege, thirst, and abandonment as the one in Karbala. This is what is happening today in Yemen.

Of course the other side of Karbala is firmness, honor, courage, heroism, patience and steadiness. You also find these in Yemen. In Hussein’s day we see that the essential duty of the Islamic and Arab people as well as every Arab, Muslim, honorable and free person in the world is to break his silence over this heinous daily massacre committed by the American-Saudi aggression forces against the Yemeni people. This silence must be broken and must end. The whole world must act. This responsibility is a humane, moral and religious responsibility. God will ask everyone about this on the Day of Resurrection because this silence encourages these killers and criminals to continue their massacres and savagery against children, women, civilians and infrastructure in this oppressed, dear and estranged Yemen.

Third, we reaffirm our support for the peaceful people of Bahrain, who withstand with their peacefulness all the bayonets, all the stabbing, all the injustice and all the daggers from the regime and from the neighboring countries. Thousands of its scholars, men and youth are in prison. These people face a great deal of injustice. We were and are with them and we will remain by their side in the choices they make, in the path they take, in their commitment and in their quest for freedom, dignity, sovereignty and legitimate rights and for Bahrain to remain for the Bahraini people, while Bahrain’s identity is being altered through naturalizing those who do not belong to its present or its history.

Fourth, it is our duty today to stand by the Islamic Republic of Iran, which will face a massive and dangerous challenge in a few weeks. This challenge is the start of the implementation of the US sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

We all know that the US administration is working all the time. It is going to all the capitals of the world to besiege the Islamic Republic by preventing the countries in the world from buying Iranian oil. We all know that the Islamic Republic is being punished by the US because of a very clear and obvious reason. It is being punished because, first of all, it is committed and adherent to its religion, Islam, it republic, its independence, its sovereignty and its freedom. [It is being punished] because the Islamic Republic of Iran has a leader, a government, a parliament and a people who refuse to be slaves to the American master. They refuse to let anyone confiscate their decision, to plunder their wealth or to steal their money the way it is happening in other countries in the region. It is an independent, friendly, free, dignified and dear country that is punished and besieged. It is being punished and held accountable because Iran stands by the people of the region, vehemently helps through its presence, support and backing in overthrowing the projects of hegemony, occupation and domination.

We should give credit to the Islamic Republic’s contributions in this Arab-“Israeli” conflict, its support for the Palestinian and the Lebanese people. Because of its continuous support, the resistance in Lebanon has managed to liberate the Lebanese territory, bring back the prisoners to Lebanon and create a balance of deterrence with the “Israeli” enemy in Lebanon.

The Islamic Republic was the first to respond to the call of the Iraqi people when Daesh invaded all the provinces and holy cities in Iraq. The Islamic Republic stood by Syria when a global war was waged against it. We owe it to the Islamic Republic of Iran which is committed to the causes of the oppressed and the vulnerable, especially the people of the region. We should, at least, stand by it politically, through the media, provide public and moral support in all levels including confronting the siege, sanctions and pressure.

Fifth, regarding Lebanon, I reconfirm the continuous call for calm, dialogue, communication, forming the government, activating the parliament and assuming all responsibilities in addressing all existing and proposed files.

Sixth, regarding the “Israeli” issue, we must always remain cautious.

Dear brothers and sisters, the “Israelis” are angry. The “Israelis” are worried and angry because their project in the region has failed. The “Israelis” have placed great hopes on what was going on in Syria and what was going on in Iraq. They have placed great hopes in the past on what was happening in Lebanon. But all these fantasies are gone with the wind.

The “Israelis” know that the axis of resistance is stronger than ever. The “Israelis” know that there are new countries that have become part of the axis of resistance, and that people who were outside the circle of conflict with the “Israeli” enemy are now in the circle of the conflict with the “Israeli” enemy. They are in the circle forcefully, effectively and in a harmonious manner.

The “Israelis” are angry and worried, so we must all be cautious. I am not talking about possibilities here or there. But I know that no one should rest assured with this enemy. We cannot even rest assured by the analyses even if – as I have always assured you - it fears any battle in the region, especially with Lebanon. It knows that any battle or war it wages might have very extensive repercussions on the region. It is well aware that it weakness points have been revealed and it knows very well the strengths we possess.

A few days ago, the “Israeli” war minister said on the occasion of the 1973 war that we must understand that in the Middle East there have been two real strategic changes. He said that the first concerns their enemies – this means us and our allies. ‘Our enemies possess accurate missiles’. Of course, he still has no solution to counter these missiles. This will delay and postpone the war according to logic.

The second is that the internal front – inside the entity – has become the main frontline of the next war. During the 1973 War, the soldiers were fighting at the frontlines. In Tel Aviv, the people were sitting and sipping coffee and reading the newspaper. He tells them that now everything has changed. Yes, everything has changed. This is what we should be aware of the same way the enemies are. The enemy knows that there are a lot of changes that took place in this region that it was not expecting and was hoping would never happen.

Regarding the precision missiles and it’s [“Israel’s”] attempts to block this capability from reaching Syria, I would like to tell “Israel” something today – even though it knows – but I will say this through the media for the “Israeli” people to know and be cautious of and for our people to know it and have trust. I tell them that no matter how you block the way, it is over. It is done and has been accomplished. The resistance already possesses precision missiles, non-precision missiles and armament capabilities. If ever “Israel” waged a war on Lebanon, “Israel” will face a fate and a reality it never expected. This is a fact.

Another thing that changed within its army is what I spoke about in the city of Hermel during the anniversary of the Second Liberation, which is the moral, spiritual and psychological reality of the “Israeli” army. Almost everyone in the entity responded to me, including the president of the entity, the prime minister, the war minister, other ministers, MPs and journalists. All of them responded, by name and without a name. But it was clear that they were responding to me because I was shedding light on a painful reality for them, for their people and for their future. They know that technology alone cannot resolve a battle anymore. The human element is a decisive element in the battle. This is demonstrated by the experiences of 2000, 2006 and the events in the past few years. Look at the weakness of the “Israelis”. How did they respond to me? Look at their points of weakness. For example, what did it used to say when it threatened Lebanon? Before 1982, it used to threaten to invade Beirut. Today, do you hear anything about invading Beirut? From 2000 until today, my brothers from 2006 until today, has there been a day when the “Israelis” said we will invade Lebanon and reach Beirut? This is over, why? Because the invasion of Lebanon and reaching Beirut requires ground forces. This is not done by the air force, the rockets or the boats. The army that will invade Lebanon and reach Beirut no longer exists. It no longer exists. In Lebanon something else exists. So what were all the responses? We will destroy Lebanon. We will wipe out Lebanon. This shows that “Israel” is relying on its firepower and does not dare rely on the human element. This is “Israel” that claims to be strong. How did it respond to me? It only cursed me. This is proof of weakness. It mocked me. It is surprising that almost everyone used the same description about how ‘this person is addressing and threatening us from his shelter’. First of all, as far as being in a shelter or not – of course I am not in a shelter – but being somewhere and Allah Almighty has bestowed life to this poor slave that you are trying to kill day and night is a proof of your failure and inability. It is not important if I am delivering a speech from a shelter or not. What is important is what is outside the address. You know what Hezbollah has prepared including forces, equipment, capabilities, missiles and huge numbers of fighters, faithful, determined and competent fighters. The book of fear that is spread through out the US now has spoken about some aspects of the aforementioned. You know that Hezbollah is not about someone being in a shelter. It is bigger than that. In my opinion, resorting to this description is a proof of weakness of the “Israeli” logic, media and argument.

who talked about it. In all its aspects, the book of fear now pervasive in America, you know very well that Hezbollah is not a matter of how much of Hezbollah is in the hideout, the issue is much greater. The use of this description in my opinion is evidence of the removal of “Israeli” logic and the weakness of the “Israeli” media and the “Israeli” argument.

Yes, brothers and sisters, today we have reached this actual point, the most important and sensitive point. We are indeed in a position of force, victory and deterrence. We took all of this position’s morale, determination, will, vigor and enthusiasm from the events of this day 1380 years ago.

Today from the position of jihad and sacrifices and also from the position of victories, we renew our belonging to the path of the victory of blood over the sword. We renew our affiliation to Abi Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH) and tell him whatever threats are coming – I tell you the biggest, most difficult, greatest and dangerous threats are the ones we overcame. The coming threats will not be as bad and as great as the ones over the past years and the past decades - but whatever threats are coming, we will face them with the same determination.

Dear brothers and sisters, we have also entered a test in the past few years, a test related to Zainab (PBUH) and a commitment to Zainab (PBUH). From the first day we told her we are all your Abbas O, Zainab. We are all your Abbas O, Zainab. Throughout the past years, we have proved through the blood of our martyrs and wounded and the sacrifices of our Mujahideen that we are indeed your Abbas O, Zainab. Yes, we are all your Abbas O, Zainab.

Today, we renew our commitment and stance to al-Hussein and Zainab, to Islam, to the oppressed, to the sanctities and to the estranged as well as the fight against all the tyrants on earth.

Today we turn to Abi Abdullah al-Hussein who renewed his call following the martyrdom of all his companions and household. He stood alone in Karbala, a stranger in Karbala, in front of the chopped bodies of his loved ones and companions. He cried out that [famous] call which still echoes and will continue to resonate until the Day of Resurrection: Is there anyone to help me? Is there anyone to protect the Messenger of Allah’s family [daughters]?

Yes, we tell him, O our master today as every Tenth Day, all our days are Ashura and all the fields of our jihad is Karbala. We told him with blood. We told him through martyrdom. We told him through the tears of mothers, wives and daughters. We told him through the sight of the prisoners and the groans of the wounded: Labayka ya Hussein [At your service O, Hussein].

Today we also tell him, O, Aba Abdullah, we will not abandon these squares, these fields, these sacrifices, which we have only seen pride and victories. We will not leave them even if the entire world was against us. By Allah, even if we come to know that we shall be killed and then burnt in fire and shall be brought to life again and eventually our ashes will be scattered in the air and we die and become alive in this way, even then I shall not leave you till I lay down my life for your sake.

O, brother, in this day we turn to Karbala and say: Peace be upon al-Hussein, upon Ali ibn al-Hussein, upon the sons of al-Hussein and upon the companions of al-Hussein.

May God reward you and make us, God willing, those who adhere to the path of al-Hussein, those who pledge allegiance to the grandson of al-Hussein, Sahib al-Zaman, those who pave the earth for him and those who wait for him in his fields. Every oppressor will end. The name of Islam, justice, humanity, pride will be the title.

Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
