The members of the so-called Jaish al-Islam terrorist group in the Syrian Eastern Ghouta town of Douma released the first batch of abductees as part of a new evacuation deal with the Syrian government.

Under the deal, the organization's terrorists would be disarmed and transported along with their families from Douma to the militant-held city of Jarablus.

The terrorist outfit would also free all those remaining in its captivity.

In further details, the freed detainees were received in the al-Fayhaa Sports Complex, where their waiting relatives cried and attempted to make contact with their loved ones who had just arrived.

Up to eight thousand militants and about 40,000 members of their families are set to be evacuated, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
